We got to the Castle doorstep and my father told us the plan to just walk inside and tell them and see their reaction and if it wasn't good, they had no choice, but to except it because DUUH, we're Royalty!
We walked in to find the one person that we were trying to avoid and obviously that isn't going to happen now that she has seen him. It was Grand Nanny.
She looked at him like she was an investigator and then walked up to my mother and said in a soft voice "May I ask dear, who is this filthy, no offense, man that you have brought into our humble abode?" My mother gulped a big gulp and then sternly said with fake confidence... "My Husband, yes my husband, Jonothan, whom we came upon to obviously be alive and we forgave him for leaving yes quite quickly, but because he gave us ample reason too."
As Mother was talking, Grand Nanny was actually paying attention which is surprising for her to be doing so, but I guess it is because she wanted to listen to the reasons for our actions regarding Father.
Grand Nanny asked one of the maids to fetch Father some spare clothes for dinner because Grand Nanny gratefully said that he could stay, mainly because she wanted to discuss matters in more depth at the dinner table!
Let's hope for the best!!!!
