"Zekrom, Fusion Bolt!"

"Reshiram, Fusion Flare!"

The double mega moves clashed. Hilda was panting, the battle lasted longer than it should've, N, more to say his Pokemon, were strong. Hilbert watched in awe as the flames and electricity destroyed its surroundings.

Not known to all three of them, Ghetsis entered the room. He was heavily dressed under his cloak, as usual. Not known to world, Ghetsis was the true leader of Team Plasma, and he knew and recognized potential when he saw it. He had a knack for identifying strong trainers or people with strong feelings just by looking at them.

When he entered the room, disappointment wasn't enough to describe what he was feeling. From the time he first laid eyes on Hilbert, he was confident that he would be the one going against N, his "king". However, what lay infront of him wasn't what he expected.

"Hilbert, I'm disappointed. Why is the girl the one doing the fighting!?"

Hilbert turned as saw Ghetsis standing behind him. He noticed that Ghetsis wasn't pleased one bit with fight that was progressing. Sure, N may have wanted Hilda to be his final challenger, but Ghetsis recognized that Hilbert was definitely stronger, not to mention his strong sense of ideals, Ghetsis only thought it would be him facing N.

Hilbert wasn't those who would abandon his friends, even though they hurt him. He was determined from keeping anyone from interfering with the battle at hand.

"I'm not letting you interfere with Hilda! Back off!" Hilbert yelled.

"Tsk, is that a challenge I sense?" Ghetsis replied.

"Yeah, you better believe it is!"

Ghetsis wasn't surprised, he knew he would have to face Hilbert once before taking over Unova. Honestly, he didn't consider Hilda a threat, even though she was the one recognize by Zekrom. Ghetsis simply saw it as an amatuer marksman using a sniper rifle, despite having her strong Pokemon, she didn't know how to fully utilize their full potential, unlike Hilbert.

"Very well! Although I'm disappointed that you weren't the fighting N."

"Shut Up! You know nothing of how I feel!" Hilbert screamed.

He wasn't going to take any crap from him, especially when he knew Ghetsis was the enemy. Hilbert knew the upcoming battle wasn't going to be easy, but he came too far to let things end like this. He braced himself, lowered his cap, and finally...

"Go! Haxorus!"

The Dragon-type Pokemon emerged from its Pokeball, awaiting directions from his train. If there was one thing Hilbert would never forget, it was to treat his Pokemon with love and care. He has never abused his Pokemon, neither has he ever treated them like tools, he wasn't Blue, his Pokemon were considered his friends, that's why he was able to bring out the best from his Pokemon.

Ghetsis knew his challenger wasn't someone he could take lightly, after all, Hilbert crushed his way through the Elite Four, and without leaving a single scratch on his Pokemon. Despite knowing the tougness of his opponent, he wasn't afraid, he was confident. He believed that no one could ever beat him, not even N, it was just a matter of how serious he had to be, and of course, against Hilbert, he had to give it his all.

"Go! Confagrigus!"

The Mummy Pokemon appeared. Eyes as cold as ever. It was going to be a tough fight, that's for sure, and rest assured, neither trainer was going to back down. If anything, it was the true ending, a battle to decide the fate of Unova, and sadly, the existence of this battle will never be recorded or even heard of. It was, an underground confrontation, a silent last hurrah that would decide the fate of the world. Hilbert knew it, Ghetsis knew it, and thus, they fought to protect their ideals, to protect the meaning of their existence.
