Skye meets the group

Ashley POV

As I drove, I couldn't believe that Adrian asked some other girl to the dance. Yeah he is the best basketball player in the school and get any girl he wanted. He rarely hangs out with other girls. He never brought home a girl, which sometimes made me think he wasn't straight. Him with another girl. My hands tighten at the thought. My hands tighten so much around the steering wheel, that my knuckles started turning white. I felt a hand on my shoulder. I instantly calm down knowing it's Skye. "Come on tell me everything, you're stressed out." Skye said. "Well, remember Lily." I ask. I see him nod. "Well she likes my brother Adrian. He asked another girl to the dance. She is probably crying her eyes out right now." I said. "Why probably?" Skye asked. "Well Lily rarely cries. She is always their for us. So we gotta be their for her. Plus I don't know how she reacts to this kind of things." I said. He nods taking in the information. We finally reach our destination. I unlock the door and let Skye in. "Nice house, cozy." He commented. "Thanks." I say. We walk in the living room and see Adrian and Josh. "Ashley, I have to talk to you." Adrian said. Before I can respond he drags me out the living room and into the kitchen. I cross my arms. "What is it?" I say. "Okay I kinda told some people I was going out with a girl to the dance. I like a certain girl and she didn't react at all." He said. My eyes widen. "So what you are telling me is that you haven't asked anyone to the dance. You only did that to make her jealous." I said. "Correct." He said. I was on the verge of slapping him. "Who is the girl you like?" I ask. "I can't tell you." He said. "Why not?!" I said. He looked at me and sighed. "You are probably gonna hate me." He said. "I can never be mad at you." I say as I put a hand on his shoulder. He looks at me and sighs. "Okay... Keep an open mind. Okay its-" He got cut off by Josh. "Hello my people." He said and put an arm around both of us. Skye walks on with a smile on his face. "Has he told you who he likes?" Josh whispered to me. I shook my head. "I was going to tell her untill you interrupted me." Adrian said. "Tell who what?" Piper asked as she walks in with Lily. "M-my u-um -" Adrian stammered but got cut of by Josh. "He was going to tell Ashley, the name of the girl he likes." Josh said. Adrian slapped him in the back of his head. "Well since we are all here might as well say it to all of us." Lily said quietly. He sighed and ran a hand through his hair. "Oh hi Skye I didn't see you there." Lily said and went up to hug him. "U-um hi Lily." He said. He hugged her back and came closer to the group where Piper playfully pushed his shoulder. We all looked at Adrian. "Well?" I ask, tapping my foot against the floor. "Lets all sit down." He said. I sat down next to Skye. Lily sat down on the other side of Skye. Piper sat down next to Lily. Josh sat down next to me. We all waited. "Well um... Its well..." He stammerd. I roll my eyes. Before he can say anything else Skye got a call. He left the room and came back 7 minutes later. "I have to go home." He stated. "Why?" I ask as I cock my head to the side. "My sister is here." He said as he looked at the ground. "What's wrong?" Piper asked. "I haven't seen her in 3 months." He said. "Want me to go with you?" I ask him. He nodded. I got up and walked to him. I turned around and looked at Adrian. "This conversation isn't over." I said. "I will tell you when the whole group is here." He said. I nodded and left with Skye. I drove to his house while Skye gave me the directions. I sighed, I couldn't believe Adrian. We reached his house. He walked just in and ushered me in. There I saw a young looking woman. She had brown hair in a ponytail. She had hazel eyes and was in a dress. She looked at Skye and stared at him for a long time. "You've grown so much." She said. "You look the same." He commented. She rolled her eyes and held her arms out. "Oh shut up and give me a hug pimple face." She said. Skye laughed and went to her. "Whatever you want wart hog." He said and hugged her. "Mom told me about your talk and I knew I had to come. I'm sorry I left little bro." She said. "Oh and thanks for saving Nat and Di." She said. "No prob." He said. I just stood there awkwardly. "Oh hi I didn't see you there my name is Rachel. Who are you?" She introduced herself to me. "I'm Ashley." I said as I shook her hand. "This is my umm... Friend." Skye said. She looked at him with a raised eyebrow. "Are you two together?" She asks. I blush and shook my head no. She frowned but didn't question anything. "Come on I think we need a little time together. Mom, Skye, You and my husband and daughters." She said as she walked away. "Wait me too?" I questioned. "Well yes you helped Skye talk. You are part of the family. Come on I made my famous lasagna." She said. Skye took my hand in his. "Come on it'll be fun, and she makes the best lasagna's." He said as he pulled me towards the dining room. I looked down at our intertwined hands. I smiled. Point 4 for Ashley.
