soft music played in the car. sky sat with her arms crossed; she was ignoring miller.

miller bit his lip, trying to make some sort of conversation in his head. "sky, you do know i love you."

sky nodded. miller sighed, "say something. i feel bad for yelling at you."

"something." sky said, rolling her eyes. miller let out a breath.

"say, 'miller i forgive you, you're my favorite brother' or something along those lines." miller begged.

"you wish." sky said annoyed.

miller pulled up to a gas station and parked. he turned to sky. "look sky. i feel fucking terrible for yelling at you. i know that you weren't in the best position for tough love, but that's what i'm good at. sky, i love you so much. i'm just always in constant fear for your safety. for god's sake, you came to me so late with bruises and with tears all over your face. i want nothing but the best for you. i am so sorry."

sky looked at him, in lost for words. she felt his guilt. he really meant it. "apology accepted."

miller reached over and squeezed sky so tightly.

they were back on the road, having small conversations on the way back to her apartment.

the apartment complex was littered with police cars. families and couples stood behind police tape in complete confusion.

"what the hell?" sky whispered under her breath. miller's heart dropped.

when he parked the car, sky jumped right out of his car.

she began running towards her apartment. miller began screaming her name, running to her.

sky stopped as soon as she saw tyler trying to wriggle out of two police officers grasps.

"let him go! he has done nothing wrong!" sky cried. miller finally caught up to her.

everything seemed to be going in slow motion.

sky was crying and screaming, miller holding her close.

tyler was getting pushed into a police car, he was screaming out apologies to no one in particular.

no one knew what would happen next. sky was in complete despair.
