Chapter Seven

I stood at the door biting into a twinkie that I swiped from Ryan. Oh this is gold. I cleared my throat.

"Am I interrupting something?" I said leaning on the threshold of the door. I shook my head biting another piece while chewing slowly. The woman stared at me with a smirk plastered on her botched face. Why? I wonder miserably. Why me? Just when I had decided to give Logan a chance.

"See what happens Rain when you show weakness?" I quickly asked my wolf. She ignored me clearly hurt.

I turned around and headed straight for the door, I didn't want to wait for the excuses that were surely going to come. His footsteps echoes my own as followed me and called out my name but I didn't stop. I just, I can't believe I let it happen again.

"Come back!" he sounded so desperate and it just made me want to kill him more. I turned around and hurt flashed across his face.

"What?! Let me guess, you want to explain? Explain how it wasn't you and you really didn't kiss her? Do you think I'm blind? This is why I didn't want a mate. Because if you care about someone they can hurt you, and I refuse to be hurt by someone like you!"

"Carlee what is that supposed to mean?" He retorted.

"It doesn't matter honestly. Have fun with whatever that was in there. I'm going to get my things." I said.

"But you're my mate. You belong here, I want you here.." He begged, his voice full of sorrow. I started laughing hysterically, it was either that or cry hysterically.

"BULLSHIT! I came down here to give your sorry ass a chance and this is the exact reason why I did not want a mate. The only place I belong is somewhere on an island eating all the food that my heart desires." I said, shaking my head. I took the last bite of my twinkie.

"Hey, do you have anymore of these? That Ryan dude took the whole box." I said rolling my eyes.

"Carlee please!" He tried, begging me with his eyes.

"Please, she kissed me! I'm not lying."

"You're a liar!" I screamed.

"No Carlee please! Don't leave! You're my mate and my Luna," he asked one final time.

"LUNA MY ASS!"

"Britt, and then he was kissing the whore!" I yelled into the phone. I swear my parents are going to pay for this bullshit.

"I cannot believe that mess. Where are you now?" She asked. My phone began beeping indicating another call. I glanced at the phone seeing it was my father.

"Hold on Brittany." I said switching the phone. I stuffed a piece of chocolate into my mouth before answering.

"Hello wonderful father, who left me at this hell hole. Just so you know, you are going to pay for leaving me here." I quickly ranted.

"What did you do Carlee Mae?" He asked me. I scoffed the nerve of him.

"No, dad you should be asking that tattooed werewolf freak that. He fucking kissed another girl daddy." I said getting angry all over again. He was quiet on the other end.

"I'll kill him." My dad said.

"Aw, thanks daddy, but I have my revenge." I said laughing evilly.

"Is Caiden coming to get me?" I asked waiting to leave this dump. I mean it is not a dump the entire home is beyond beautiful. I sighed.

"Actually, no. You have to stay." I looked at the phone making sure I heard him correctly before rolling my eyes.
