We will leave/live together! (Friend zoned contest)

I made my decision. I love her. I don't want her to leave.

My name's Thomas, her name's Clémentine.

We are best friends since we are 6. We were in the same class, we played the same games, we liked the same things... We were really best friends, forever.

Now I'm 20, and her too. And she is going to live in Australia. And I don't want her to. She can't just live over there while I live here, in England.

When she told me that she was leaving, her dark blue eyes were looking straight into mine. They were filled with tears. I nearly cried, but I ran away quickly, leaving her alone on the street. I ran back home and cried for the whole night.

First, I thought that I was so upset about her leaving because we were best friends, but yesterday, I think I fell in love. I don't know how to tell her, I don't want to ruin our friendship, but I still want her to know.

I suddenly had a briliant idea... I quickly booked a flight to Australia, the same one as hers. I packed my stuff. I am going to Australia too.

That's why today, I'm running the fastest I can, it's already 7:00 am and our plane is leaving at 8:00 am, but we have to be early, as usual when you go on a plane.

I ran the fastest I could, the airport is about 10 minits away from my house. Finally, I saw the entrance. I ran to the gates.

I kept on running... "I hope she is still at the entry..." I thought.

I looked everywhere. There was so many people! I ran from one side of the airport to the other.

I finally saw her. I ran to Clémentine.

"CLÉMENTINE!!!" I shouted. She turned around.

"Thomas!" She answered, "I'm happy you came. I thought you were mad and you wouldn't say goodbye..."

"I'm not saying goodbye! I'm coming with you!"

"Wow! That's great! Handshake?"

I didn't handshake. I kissed her cheek. She looked at me, surprised. I smiled. I hadn't said anything, but I think she got it.

She smiled and kissed my cheek too.

I felt my cheeks becoming red. She took my hand and we walked away, to the plane.

She was going to live in Australia, I was just going there for holidays. But maybe I could live there too, it's all her choice now...
