Flower couldn't help but groan in annoyance when she heard a group of girls giggle behind her. She absolutely hated it. Hated having girls swoon over her. Hated having boys glare at her. Hated that the teachers were confused about her. Hated not knowing what she was. Being a hermaphrodite was not easy, since everyone thought the young Vocaloid was a boy.
The thing is, despite having a pistil and all the female parts she still felt like she wasn't fully female. Maybe it was her chest? It has to be her chest.
Flower finally reached her house and walked inside, letting her tail out of her shorts. She faceplanted into the couch with a groan.
"Are you ok, Flower-Chan?"
Flower looked up, seeing the silverette, Aria, sitting there. "Oh, uh, yeah!" She honestly felt like crying, she couldn't even go into the locker rooms without being slapped or kicked out. It wasn't fair!
"Are you sure?" Aria asked, tilting her head to the side, "You seem upset."
"I'm fine." Flower said, finally standing up, "I'm going to take a shower, I'll talk after that."
(Clover: Cue the weird shower scene!!)
Flower ran her hands down her bare figure and sighed, keeping her eyes on the wall. She didn't like her body. Sure, it was nice, but she still hated it. It made her feel so messed up. The girl sighed in frustration, digging her nails into her scalp. "It's not fair..." She mumbled, her tail wrapping around a leg. She thought that maybe if she looked at herself, she could finally figure out what she was, but that wasn't working. It didn't help her at all. She was still confused. "Why was I created like this? With this....horrible body...." Flower turned the shower water off and yanked the curtain to the side, wrapping a towel around her body, hair still dripping wet. Not bothering to dry her hair, Flower got dressed and walked out of the bathroom with a soft sigh. How long can I be confused about this? I was made to be a boy, but something went wrong and now I'm a girl, it's that simple! Heh, I wish.... She sighed and trudged sluggishly into the living room, sitting down on the couch. Putting her head in her hands, she said, "Why can't I just find an answer already? It's not that hard, but my stupid body keeps pushing me away from anything..."
"What do you mean by that, Flower-Chan?"
Flower yelps and falls off of the couch, "Jeez, Aria, I didn't know you could teleport..."
The silverette giggled, "You're funny, Flower-Chan! But what do you mean by, 'my stupid body keeps pushing me away'?"
"It's nothing," Flower said while standing up, "forget about it, forget what you heard me say." She sighed softly and walked towards the front door, "I'm going out for awhile, so I might be a little late for dinner.." Without another word, Flower walked out, leaving Aria alone with confused thoughts. "Flower-Chan...."
Flower went wherever any person would go when they're upset, the park. (Clover: Oh, so original Flower!~) She sat on a swing and watched as kids played, the sun starting to set, painting the sky in a bright crimson color. "I'm so confused...." She groaned, lowering her head to look at her lap. "Ugh...." Flower looked back up when a ball rolled over to her, hitting her foot softly. "Huh?"
"Sorry, mister!" A young boy said, standing near a group of friends, "Can you kick that back over here, please?"
Mister....? Mister...?! Even some stupid kids think I'm a boy!! "I'm not a boy you dumb kid!!" Flower snarled, kicking the ball a bit too hard.
The kids stepped back, "G-gomen!" The boy says before running away with his friends, not bothering to get his ball.
N-no, wait, I'm sorry! Flower cried, but couldn't manage to actually say it. She watched them run, guilt bubbling up inside her. Damnit, I screwed that up.... The Vocaloid sighed and sat back down on the swing, shivering when a cold breeze blowed past her. "I should get back home soon.... It's getting cold...."
"Where's Flower?" Luka asked while putting the last plate full of food on the dinner table. Miku and Kaito looked at each other while One looked over at Aria.
"I haven't seen her." Miku said with a shrug, "I thought she was just in her room."
Kaito nodded, "Same here. I mean, I did see her at school of course, but that was about it."
"Flower went out about an hour ago." Aria spoke up, "She seemed upset..."
"What do you mean, sis?" One asked.
"Well....she kept mumbling things about her body, it was kind of weird..." Aria explained sheepishly.
"That explains it." Kaito said with a sigh, "We need to go look for her." He stood up.
"Wait, Kaito, what do you mean?" Miku asked.
Kaito looked over at Luka who nodded. "Alright... So Flower is a hermaphrodite which is basically someone with both male and female 'parts' or characteristics. In Flower's case she has a-"
"A PE-" Miku was cut off by One throwing a shoe at her.
"MIKU!!" The elder twin hissed, hands covering Aria's ears.
"WHAT?! I'm just saying!!"
"NO!" Kaito yells quickly, "Flower has a...*coughs* you know what...*coughs*." He looks at Luka desperately.
"Guys, Flower has the characteristics of a boy, which explains her flat chest and androgynous voice." Luka says.
"But Flower-Chan sounds pretty feminine to me." Aria says, pushing One's hands off of her ears.
Luka sighs, "Yes, I know, but it's not the same with others..."
"So what you're saying is," One starts, sitting back in her chair, "people think Flower is a guy?"
"Bingo! Give that girl a medal!" Kaito says with a smile, getting a glare from One.
"That's right, One." Luka was about to say something else when the door opened. Flower, who had been listening the whole time, walked in. She pushed strand of hair out of her face and realized all eyes were on her. "Uh.....hi?"
Nobody moved.
"I'll just....go back outside...." Flower says, awkwardly attempting to shuffle back outside, "Pretend you never saw me!"
"How much of that did you hear?" Miku asked nervously.
"Most of it!" Flower said while rubbing the back of her neck.
They all froze.
"Heheh, don't worry, I'm not upset!" Flower says with a small smile, walking over to the dinner table and taking her seat. "Why are you guys staring at me like that?"
Miku and Aria both hug Flower at the same time, taking the girl by surprise. "U-uh, g-guys?!" Flower says, her facing starting to turn red.
"IT'S OK, FLOWER, WE WON'T LET ANYONE ELSE CALL YOU A BOY, WE PROMISE!!" Miku yells.
"YEAH!! NO ONE WILL TRY TO HIT ON YOU AGAIN!!" Aria adds.
"U-uh..."
"IT'LL BE OK, FLOWER, SO DON'T BE SAD, WE'LL KILL ALL THOSE MEAN PEOPLE!!" Miku says while tightening her embrace.
Kaito starts laughing while One facepalms. "You 2 are getting way too into this..." She says with a laugh.
Luka smiles, "Well, that went better than expected!"
