Damian zoned out as the teacher told them the plays name. It was based off the Disney movie, Beauty and the Beast. He secretly loved that movie, and anything Disney, but he was unsure that as a freshman he would have the opportunity to play the beast. And he didn't want a reputation as a Disney freak. He was trying to get into sports. He looked over at Lindsay, seeing her listening intently as the teacher talked about all the parts in the play. As soon as the teacher was done, Damian tapped his foot as the scripts were being passed out, taking his and flipping through the pages.
"Cool huh?" Lindsay asked, looking over at him. He smiled slightly to himself, looking up and meeting her eyes. "I kind of want to play Beauty but I don't think I would be that good."
"Actually her name is Belle." Damian said with a small laugh before he could stop himself, trying to keep his goofy little Disney fan thing a secret. She raised an eyebrow at him as he motioned down to the script. "I-It says her name right there. I saw it as I was looking through it."
"Mhmm. Sure you did." She said teasingly, smirking.
"Oh shu-" The bell rang, cutting his sentence short.
"Well. Guess this is goodbye." She said. He sighed inwardly, wanting to spend a little more time with her. She stood up, grabbing her bag and taking out a slip of paper and scrawling something on it, handing it to him. "Here. Any questions, if you want to run lines, or if you need to vent about how much hell this place is, call me." He smiled, sliding it into his pocket as she took the opportunity to take the SnapBack off his head, placing it backwards on hers.
"Or when you want this back." She smirked and walked as he stood.
"Hey! Lindsay!" He called after her, but she kept walking. He chuckled, shaking his head as he picked up his bookbag. 'Expect that call soon then.' He thought to himself, walking out into the sea of people in the hall.
