As soon as the final bell rang, Damian and Cameron were out of the door, running to their lockers. Damian had just wanted the day to get over, so that nothing would ruin it. He felt his phone vibrate in his pocket. Taking it out, an unknown number flashed on the screen.
'Party @ the Garners. 7pm sharp. Be there!' The text message said. Damian smiled slightly, having been invited to his first high school party.
"Cam, we got plans tonight." Damian said, tossing his phone to his friend.
"Holy shit! That's Johnson Garner's number!" Cameron said, overly excited.
"I'm almost embarrassed at how excited you are about this." Damian laughed, shooting a message back to the number. 'Hell yeah I'll be there.'
"He's the most popular senior in school! This is huge!"
"Calm the fuck down." Damian felt his phone vibrate again, but this time the name LINDSAY appeared on his screen.
'Just got invited to Johnson's party. Heard you got invited. See u there?' She had asked.
'You know it.' He shot back, getting a smiley face in return as Cameron grabbed Damian's elbow, pulling him outside and into Marissa's car.
