Damian walked into Study Hall as the bell rang and he looked around. "I take it your Damian." The teacher, Mrs. Harley asked him. He nodded in response. "Welcome to Study Hall. Please take a seat. And no cell phones." She told him, motioning to the open seat two computers away from the door. He nodded and walked to it, sitting down. He looked around, seeing Cameron and smiling slightly. He looked back at the teacher and saw she was busy, so he decided to sneak out his phone. He took out the slip of paper, typing in the number.

'Hey hat stealer.' He typed, pressing send.

Lindsay felt her phone vibrate in her pocket. Her teacher didn't care if they had their phones out for the twenty minute period. She looked down and saw an unrecognized number, but opened her phone and read the message, smiling slightly to herself. 'Hey yourself Beast.'

He rolled his eyes, a smile playing on his lips.

'So when am I going to get my hat back? It's my favorite.'

She giggled as her friends gave her weird looks, and typed 'How about you find me at lunch and I'll give it to you.'

'Alright it's a date.' He typed before reading what he said and typing another response. 'Not what I meant.'

'I know I know!' She typed and managed to press send as the bell rang. 'Class you have next?'

'Science 1 with Stanton.'

'Good luck with that! See you at lunch cutie.' She typed, not realizing what she called him.

'Cutie huh? Aw you think I'm cute haha.' He smiled, knowing he would never let her live that down.

'Oh you know your cute.'

'Walking into class now! Later!' He turned off his phone and slipped it into his pocket, sitting in the very back desk in the second row. He rested his head on his arm, still wearing a goofy smile on his face that Cameron saw as soon as he walked in and took his seat in front of Damian.

"Earth to Damian!" Cameron whispered as Damian shook his head once.

"What?" Damian whispered, rolling his eyes.

"Finally I caught your attention." Cameron mumbled, shrugging as Damian rolled his eyes again. "What are you daydreaming about doof?"

"Uh a girl..." Damian whispered, not wanting to say anything around other people.

"Does this girls name start with an L?" Cameron asked him with a smirk. Damian nodded slowly as Cameron's smile started to fade. "Dam-" Cameron didn't get to finish as the teacher walked into the class room, so he passed back a note.

'You know you have to tell her.'

Damian shot a questioning glance at the back of his best friends head. 'Tell her what?'

Damian could hear Cameron sigh quietly, scrawling his response quickly and passing it back discreetly.

'That you're a transgender....'

Damian's face automatically fell, his mood no longer happy. He knew his friend was right, but how could he tell a girl he liked that he was a FTM? 'That isn't going to be easy...'

Cameron nodded as soon as he saw the note.

'I know bro. But she still needs to know. I can be there.'

'I think I have a lunch date with her, let me make sure I can trust her before I tell her anything.'

'Good idea.' Cameron agreed, as the bell rang, signaling time for lunch.
