The rest of the day was great, but nothing compared to that first hour.
I got a few autographs off some people from shows I hadn't even heard of, and I saw Jamie, now clothed normally in a plain white tee, denim jacket and black skinnys. He was now sat with Lily and Kevin, and I admit, Hazel and myself did our fair share of fangirling, but couldn't get close enough to the front to talk to them.
I admit however, that seeing Jamie and Lily's chemistry when they talked made my heart drop into my stomach.
London was absolutely beautiful as well. We had our photo taken with a palace guard and saw all of the city from the London Eye. I've never realised how pretty the city was, even having lived here all these years.
We got the train home at about 10pm, and when we got to Hazel's, I slept like a baby. We never mentioned what happened with Jamie. I think she was embarrassed that she had acted so crazily.
Weeks passed, and the memory of how his blue eyes, his truthful, safe, blue eyes had pierced mine never left my mind. HE never left my mind goddamnit. I couldn't stop thinking of him, yet never once made an attempt to contact him. I had his number saved, but I was much too scared to call him; what if he didn't remember me? That would fucking break my heart. That someone who meant so much to me, even after only speaking to him for twenty minutes, could not even think of me. But I knew I had to speak to him again. I couldn't keep away from him. And, finally, I gave in. I texted him on the 14th February.
'Hey...it's Tammy. I don't know if you remember me...You probably don't. You met a lot of fans that day. I probably never even crossed your mind. I'm sorry just.. Reply. Please. I know it sounds crazy, but I kind of miss you.'
My hear raced as I pressed the send button. He text back almost immediately.
'Tamara? Of course I remember you! How could I forget you you silly bitch? I thought it was you who had forgotten me, I've been waiting around for a call for weeks now. I told you to call me, what took you so long?x' I was so happy that I grinned right at my phone. Next thing I knew, he was calling me.
"Tamara Jade Heaton."
"James Metcalfe Campbell Bower."
Hearing his voice saying my name made me get goosebumps.
"Why didn't you call me?? I've not stopped waiting for you!"
"I didn't think you'd care or remember. All I am to you is one of those idiotic fangirls. That's all I'll ever be. Please don't pretend any different."
"What the fuck!? Tamara, you might be a fan but that doesn't mean you don't mean anything to me. Quite the opposite in fact. Now whereabouts do you live? I fucking need to see you,"
I closed my eyes and gave him my exact address.
"No fucking way."
"What??"
"I literally live in a flat about three streets away from you. How unfortunate that our paths never crossed before,"
I thought about this for a second: I knew which flats he meant. I'd always thought how nice they looked. I walked past them nearly every day to get to Hazel's.
"I know where you mean, oh my god."
"I'm coming round right now Tamara. Is that okay?"
My mum wasnt in, my little sister at her friends house.
"I don't see why not."
"I'll be around in 10."
"Sure. See you soon." I said and put the phone down.
I nearly screamed. Oh my fucking god, the love of my life, Jamie Campbell fucking Bower, was coming to visit my HOUSE. .....in ten minutes.
I sprinted up the stairs as fast as my legs would carry me, stumbling on the way.
I took my hair down from it's messy bun, brushed and straightened it, coloured in my eyebrows, applied foundation, mascara and eyeliner, and sprayed myself with Katy Perry perfume.
And before I had the chance to get changed, there was a knock at my door. Shit.
