Bren
I'd assumed Matt would be asleep by the time I got back to his bedroom.
That just went to show how weak my senses were: I pushed open the door to find him right on the other side, his hand on the doorknob. He let out a squeak and toppled over.
"Bren! How long have you been standing there?"
I laughed, grabbing Matt's hand to haul him back to his feet. "Just this moment."
"Whoa." He pressed a hand to his pajama-clad chest. "Scared me. Can you hear my heart racing?"
I shook my head, though I still held his hand and could feel the quickened pulse at his wrist. "If I could hear your heartbeat all the time, I would've known to warn you before opening the door and knocking you on your butt."
"What time is it?"
"Maybe eleven thirty?"
His eyes flew wide. "I'm late for class!"
"Eleven at night." I laughed again, putting my spare hand on his shoulder to steady him. He'd leapt like startled bunny. "You've only been asleep for maybe ten minutes."
"Oh." A slow smile spread over his face. "Oh! It's still night. I just thought... You know, you're all dressed up and stuff. I thought you'd let me sleep in."
"No. Just having a late-night chat with Will." I was so warm and content that I couldn't help blurting out, "He said I'm pack. Part of your pack."
"Well, duh." Matt rolled his eyes but never dropped his smile. "Hey, so we can go back to bed?"
"I'd hope so."
In the next instant he was grabbing the collar of his fuzzy pirate pajama top and dragging it over his head. From inside the soft tent I heard his muffled voice. "Check this out!"
"What?"
He dropped the top to the floor, his curls a riotous jumble of bed-head and clothing-rumpled. He dragged my hand to his bare chest and pressed it over his left pec. "Can you feel my heart racing?"
"I think your heart is closer to the center of your chest."
"Ew, wolfy thing to say." He crinkled his nose and stuck his tongue out.
He was just too adorable, all sleep-wrinkled and warm. I threaded my fingers into his hair close to the scalp and gently pulled him up for a kiss.
I meant a soft brushing of lips, but Matt had other ideas. As soon as our mouths were touching, he wrapped his arms around my waist and clung tight, pushing his face into mine, deepening the kiss into something teeth-scraping and aggressive.
I was so caught up in the kiss that I didn't notice the movement of Matt's hand until he'd already got my jeans unzipped. "What are you - oh!"
He knelt in front of me with my bare cock jutting out just in front of his lips. The sight was so tempting that I had to force myself to grab his shoulders and nudge him back.
"You said you didn't want to do this here," I reminded him.
He looked up to me, brown eyes wide and innocent. "Can't I help you get undressed, so you can come back to bed?" The angelic expression was spoiled by his dirty smile.
I nodded and let him go. He let out a happy cry and darted forward to press a kiss to the tip of my erection.
I hissed. "Matt, I won't be able to sleep if you keep that up!"
But he'd already tugged my jeans off my hips and stood up to help me pull off my sweatshirt.
"See? Helping." He wiggled my sweatshirt around to demonstrate how useful he was, before tossing it aside. "Now bed?"
