As students bustled through the crowded hallways, Daichi slowly made his way to his homeroom class. 'Ah, today's going to pretty busy.' Daichi sighed mentally.
His train of thought was broken as he had bumped into someone. "Ah, sorry. I was spacing out." Daichi apologized, extending a hand out to help the grey-haired teen up. "I-It's nothing. Thank you." the teen thanked as he grabbed Daichi's hand to stand up. "No problem." Daichi smiled as the teen scurried off in a different direction.
'Well, today's going to be interesting.'

"Good morning, everyone! I'm your homeroom teacher, Tagami Ikeda. You can just call me Mrs. Tagami." Ikeda chirped, writing her name on the pitch-black chalk board. "Now, what we are going to do is everyone will stand up and introduce themselves to the class." Ikeda said, sitting down and pointing to the first kid to introduce to the class. After about half of the class was finished, it was Daichi's turn. "My name is Daichi Sawamura." Daichi said, slowly taking his seat.
As the list began down the last row, the first student at the front quickly rose to his feet. "My name is Koushi Sugawara." Sugawara said, plopping down into his seat.
Daichi immediately recognized Sugawara as the person he bumped into in the hallway earlier. 'So his name is Koushi Sugawara, huh....' Daichi said, looking at the grey-haired teen looking aimlessly out of the window.
"Okay, now let's get started! Today......" Ikeda started, but Daichi had already drowned her out in his mind.
'Koushi Sugawara, huh.....'

(Time skip to lunch)
"Ah! Daichi, over here!" Asahi called, standing over by their usual lunch table with Tanaka, Tsukishima and Kageyama. "Asahi!" Daichi called back, running up to the group. "So, how's your day been going?" Tanaka asked as Daichi slid into a seat, next to Asahi. "Pretty good, there's a lot of new people here this year." Daichi said, looking around to see if he could spot 'him'. "True, there's a third-year named Yuu Nishinoya. He seems pretty skittish around others, though. Hey, Kageyama, Tsukishima, didn't you two say you saw new students in your homeroom class?" Asahi asked the two first-years as they ate. "Yeah, they seem really weird though. It's like it's their first time being on Earth." Kageyama said. "What are their names?" Tanaka asked them. "Tadashi Yamaguchi and.....Hinata Shouyo." Kageyama answered, momentarily forget the other's name. "Never heard of them." Tanaka sighed.
As the small group was talking, Daichi spotted Suga walking with three other students. "Hey, I'll be right back, you guys." Daichi said, rising to his feet and walking up to Suga. "Sugawara-san!" Daichi yelled, catching up with the grey-haired teen. "Oh, guys go ahead, I'll catch up with you." Suga said, before turning back to Daichi, the others already out the door. "Hello, Sawamura-san. Is there something you needed?" Suga asked, looking Daichi dead in the eye. "Oh, well I was wondering if you'd like to come have lunch with me and my friends." Daichi said, pointing back at his group of friends. "Oh, I'm sorry. I have something to do right now. Maybe another time, Sawamura-san." Suga apologized, bowing politely. "Oh, okay. Also, you can just call me Daichi." Daichi said, scratching the back of his head nervously. "Okay, then you can just call me Suga, Daichi. I must go now, but I enjoyed meeting you." Suga smiled before running out of the cafeteria.
As Daichi walked back, his body felt numb. But he still felt a great pride of accomplishment.
"Hey, are you okay Daichi?" Asahi asked, seeing as Daichi was a little spaced out. "Yeah, I'm fine." Daichi said, snapping out of his haze. "So, who were you talking to?" Tanaka asked, bracing his head on his hand. "The guy I was talking about earlier, Koushi Sugawara." Daichi said, looking around nervously. "Oh, that's cool." Asahi smiled.

(7th period; Last period)
"Hinata, do you remember those two guys in our homeroom class?" Yamaguchi asked, a nervous aura surrounding him. "Yeah, what about them? Are they in this class too?" Hinata asked, looking up at his pale brother. "Yeah, but....." Yamaguchi trailed off. "But what?" Hinata asked, tilting his head curiously. "They've been staring at us the whole period. It's starting to scare me." Yamaguchi replied.
"They are? Where are they?" Hinata asked, seeking to find the two first-years. "H-Hinata! Don't attract so much attention!" Yamaguchi hissed quietly. "Maybe we should talk to them?" Hinata suggested, rubbing his chin thoughtfully while sitting down in his seat. "Well, maybe. But if anything is fishy about them, we'll have to tell Suga." Yamaguchi said. "I highly doubt that they're monsters, if they were, don't you think we'd be able to tell? We can always tell if a monster is nearby, we can smell them." Hinata explained, arching a brow. "But we can't always sense a monster, they can also hide their smell." Yamaguchi replied, worry visible in his voice. Right before Hinata could answer, a voice broke through their conversation.
"Um, hello! My name is Emiko Takeuchi. I was wondering if I could sit with you." Emiko asked, a soft blush painting her cheeks.
"Of course you can! My name is Hinata Shouyo and this is my brother, Tadashi Yamaguchi." Hinata introduced. "Oh, that's cool! So, is this your first time at Karasuno school?" Emiko asked, smiling. "Yeah, we were being home-schooled." Yamaguchi replied. "Oh, that's cool. So, may I ask a small question?" Emiko asked, looking somewhat conflicted. "Of course!" Hinata bursted. "Have you heard about the rumour?" Emiko whispered softly. "No. What's it about?" Yamaguchi asked. "That monsters exist, and they roam in Sendai." Emiko stuttered, looking worried. "I know I sound crazy, but I'm worried. There have been reports of sudden disappearances and if they find the missing person, they're already dead." Emiko whispered, looking down at her lap.
Yamaguchi and Hinata exchanged surprised looks, they turned back to Emiko. "Hey, look at me." Hinata said, a soft tone to his voice as Emiko slowly looked up at Hinata. "It's okay, we believe you. If you ever see or hear anything, you tell us. Can you do that?" Hinata asked, putting a comforting hand on Emiko's shoulder. "Yes. Thank you, Hinata." Emiko beamed, worry washed away from her features. "No problem, Emiko." Hinata nodded.
Ring-ring, ring-ring
"Ah, school's over..." Emiko said, looking over at the clock, which read 3:45pm. "Well, I've gotta go. Thank you for your help." Emiko said, running out of the classroom.
"Well, I guess it won't be so easy to keep a low profile." Yamaguchi sighed, pinching the bridge of his nose.
