Chapter 9: Reunion, Part 1

{Note: This chapter starts off before class begins with Hinata and Yamaguchi. Enjoy the chapterrrrr~.}

"Hey Yamaguchi, can I ask you something?" Hinata asked as he looked over at the freckled teen.

"Yeah. Is something wrong?" Yamaguchi asked, looking over at Hinata expectantly. "Well, I just have a weird feeling about something. Like we're going to have to deal with more of our past today." Hinata whispered, gaze lowered to the floor. "Like we're going to have to fight a monster?" Yamaguchi asked lowly, stopping in his tracks.

"No, it's not like that. I just can't explain it....." Hinata sighed, frustrated as hell. "Don't worry about it. If something comes up, we'll deal with it." Yamaguchi said, a soft smile playing to his features.

Slowly making their way down the hallway, a voice shouted; echoing through the corridor.

"Yamaguchi!" Tsukishima called as he made his way to Yamaguchi, Kageyama in tow behind him.

"A-Ah, Tsukki? Is something wrong?" Yamaguchi asked as he ran to meet Tsukishima half way. "I need to talk with you, in private. Do you mind?" Tsukishima asked, seeing Hinata standing behind the freckled teen. "Okay~. Kageyama, do you want to walk down to the classroom with me?" Hinata asked as he walked over to a slightly red Kageyama. "S-Sure." Kageyama stuttered as Hinata latched himself onto his arm as they started to walk off together.

"Where do you want to go to talk?" Yamaguchi asked as he looked up at Tsukishima. "Follow me. It may take a while to get there, so are you willing to skip a class or two?" Tsukishima asked as he started to walk; Yamaguchi in tow with him.

"T-That's fine, and I don't mind it." Yamaguchi said, a dusty pink flush lighting his cheeks with heat.

"Okay, then."

[Kageyama and Hinata]

"So Kageyama, are you dating anyone at the moment?" Hinata asked, his voice teasing as the raven continued to squirm and blush. "No, I'm not. Why do you ask me that question?" Kageyama mutters, cheeks hot. "Well, I was just curious. Is that so bad?" Hinata asked curiously as he continued to stare at Kageyama. "N-No, it's not. It just seems weird for a person that I'm barely acquainted with to be asking me who or if I'm dating anyone, is all." Kageyama said.

"Well, would you like to be friends, Kageyama?" Hinata asked, a happy smile shaping his lips.

"S-Sure, Hinata."

"So Tsukki, is something wrong?" Yamaguchi asked as he continued to walk with the tall blonde. "Well, I'm pretty sure Emiko may have already told you, but I want to make sure." Tsukishima sighed, stopping in his tracks. "What do you mean? Is Emiko okay?" Yamaguchi asked, worry etched onto his features. "She's fine, don't worry. But she said that her sister has been gone for two weeks now, and she's worried that she may have gotten hurt or..........." Tsukishima said, not needing to fill in the blank. "Well, has she called the police?" Yamaguchi asked.

"She's called repeatedly, but they keep saying the same thing." Tsukishima sighed, frustrated.

"What do they say?" Yamaguchi asked. "That she's just over-reacting. That her sister is 'old enough to take care of herself and she has her own personal space'. But if something did happen, what then? They have to take responsibility for not acknowledging her safety." Tsukishima tsked as he shook with rage. "T-Tsukki, calm down. We'll figure this out, I promise you we will." Yamaguchi said as he stared into Tsukishima's eyes.

"Yeah, you're right. We just need to stay calm and keep doing whatever we can to help Emiko." Tsukishima sighed as he smiled slightly.

"Well, we should back before the bell rings." Yamaguchi said, smiling brightly. "Y-Yeah, let's go." Tsukishima said as he started to walk with Yamaguchi.

[Back to the classroom]

"Ah, Yamaguchi!" Hinata yelled as he ran over to his brother who was just walking in with Tsukishima by his side. "Oh, Hinata!" Yamaguchi smiled as his brother stopped in front of him. "Is everything okay? Did Tsukishima do anything to you?" Hinata asked, waiting until the blonde walked over to sit behind Kageyama. "No, it's fine. He didn't do anything. But, we need to have a talk with Suga and Noya when we get home. There might be another monster to deal with." Yamaguchi said, tired and exasperated.

"Damn. This is really rising fast, huh? And we just got here." Hinata sighed as he pinched the bridge of his nose. "Yeah." Yamaguchi sighed. Before Hinata could reply, the bell rang and the teacher called for everyone to sit in their seats.

"So, today we have a new student joining our class, starting today." Ms. Yuna said as she stood at the front of the room. "You may come in!" Yuna yelled as she looked towards the classroom door.

Time seemed to have stopped as the new student stepped into the room. As their face became visible, Hinata and Yamaguchi gasped; their bodies tensing as their eyes met theirs.

'K-Kenma.....?!'

Boom. Kenma. Yassss!

Sooo, I was originally going to wait to bring the others into the story. But I guess not. I couldn't wait, srry.

Also, Noya is a third-year and so is Suga. It's still the same day and still within the same time period as this chapter. Aka-san and Iwa-kun are coming up in the next chapter, so be prepared for our beautiful owl and sweet Iwaizumi!

And for the background couples such as: BokuAka, IwaOi, LevYaku and KuroKen will have their own chapters. I'm going to have it where the Interlude Chapters are the alternative couples chapters, so plz keep that in mind while you read.

And on a different note, I'm watching a new anime and it's FUCKING AWESOME!! Owari no Seraph is so awesome, man!!
