Scott and Mitch were laying on the ground when a light appear. Both of them opened their eyes at the same time just like they were the same person. Mitch looked at Scott and gave him a weak smile and Scott just rolled his eyes like he was annoyed.
Mitch's smile fell and it looked like he was about to cry, but then they heard something.
"Okay kids, why don't we introduce ourselves to each other" a woman said
"Yes!" the kids screamed
"Why don't we start with you little guy"
"Okay! My name is Mitchell Grassi but you can call me Mitch. I'm 10 years old, I love to sing and act. I'm here to have a good time, learn a lot and also make new friends" Mitch said very happy
"Fag" a kid screamed from the back
"Hey shut up" Scott screamed back
"Hey guys don't fight and remember we don't use that word. Thank you Scott for defending Mitch. Why don't you introduce yourself"
In that moment Scott and Mitch from the "future" realized what was happening
"Do you understand what's happening?" Scott said to Mitch from the "future"
"Yeah Scott I'm not stupid. We need to find where the voices are coming from"
"I think they're coming from there" Scott said pointing at a light
"Okay then let's go"
They started walking until they saw themselves from the past.
Past
"Okay! My name is Scott I'm also 10 but I'm about to turn 11. I really like acting but my favorite thing ever is to sing"
"Okay that's good Scott" the teacher said
The kids kept introducing themselves for another couple of minutes.
After ten minutes the teacher suggested to get in pairs and start practicing the lines for the audition.
Mitch ran to Scott to ask him to be his partner but Scott had the same idea and they bumped each other while running.
"I'm so sorry" Mitch said
"Hey it's okay. My name is Scott" he said holding out a hand
"Mitch"
"Well Mitch I was actually running to ask you to be my partner"
"I was doing the same thing" Mitch said laughing really hard
"It's like we are the same person" they both said at the same time and then started laughing even more.
After the audition Scott looked at Mitch and told him that his audition was flawless and that he didn't have to pay attention to the kids that were making fun of his voice.
"Thank you Scott" Mitch said very happy
"I'm here for you, always"
"I know we just met but I think we are going to be friends for a long time" Mitch said
"Maybe even more than friends"
"What do you mean?" Mitch said very confused
"I was thinking of best friends" Scott said with a big smile
"I like that"
"One more thing"
"Yes?"
"Can I call you Mitchy?"
"Of course Scotty"
They kept rehearsing for months until the day of the play finally got there.
Mitch and Scott were in the back practicing some lines.
"Hey don't worry you are going to be perfect Mitchy" Scott said with a big smile
"Thanks Scotty you're going to do great too"
The play went perfect. After they finished Scott got close to Mitch and told him to go backstage.
"Mitchy I just wanted to say bye and tell you that I'm going to miss you"
"Where are you going?" Mitch said worried
"Well the play just ended and we don't go to the same school so I don't think we are going to see each other again"
"Hey don't say that! I heard they were doing 'Annie'?"
"Yeah! Do you want to audition?"
"Only if you do"
"Of course I will!"
Scott hugged Mitch and the image started to blur
Present
"Okay... That was weird" Mitch said
"Yeah it was. I think this is what the voice meant when it said we were going back in time" Scott said still very confused
"Yeah I think, but are we going back now?"
A bell rang and teens started talking very loud
"I guess not" Scott said
