The Sing Off part 1

Everything changed so quickly

About an hour ago Mitch was crying because he didn't want to loose Scott and Scott wanted to leave.

Now Scott was sad. He realized he couldn't live without him, but there was something that hold him back. That something was the reason Scott was mad in the first place.

He wasn't exactly mad at Mitch. He was mad at... Well himself. He knew it was very stupid, but he couldn't get it out of his mind.

He wasn't angry anymore, he was just... Sad. He had lost his best friend and soulmate. Mitch wasn't the person who got mad all the time. They actually didn't fight and if they did it will be okay after a few minutes. Scott knew this was different. He broke it, the promise he made. He had just broke it. Why did he have to be so stupid?

Scott thoughts were interrupted when they heard something

Past

"Mitch!" Scott said when he saw his best friend

"Hello queen!"

"I'm sorry you can't go to your graduation because of this" Scott said feelings sorry

"Don't worry Scotty. I like being with you more and this could be something big"

"I know! I'm so excited for you to meet Avi. I haven't met Kevin but he seems nice. I literally can't wait to see Kirstie"

"OMG! Same"

Few hours later

"Hi guys!"

"Kirstie" both said at the same time

"That's me"

"Hello..." A deep voice said

"Avi, man! How are you?"

"Good thanks Scott"

"Okay so Mitchy and Kirstie this is Avi"

"Hi" Kirstie said excited

"Your voice is... Wow" Mitch said

"Thanks man"

"Hi" a guy said

"Kevin! It's so nice to see you"

"Yeah it's great"

"Okay so this is Avi, she is Kirstie and this is my Mitchy"

"Hello guys!"

"Hi Kevin"

"So you guys want to rehearse? The audition is tomorrow" Scott asked

"Yeah. What song are we doing"

"I was thinking of telephone" Scott said

"Yeah Kirstie, Scott, and I already have our parts so we just have to include a bass and beatbox" Mitch said

"Sounds great!" Avi said

"Let's start?" Kevin asked

They were arranging the song. They thought it was really good. They were kinda scared to sing together. The arrangement was really good but it had to sound good too.

After an hour they decided it was time to sing it and see how it sounded.

"Okay so we start with Mitchy, Kirstie and me and then we add the bass and the beatbox"

"Yes" Avi said

They did it once and it clicked

That was it. It sounded perfect they all got along and they also had fun

It was then when they realized that could be something pretty big.

They were excited and nervous.

The next day they had the audition. It was great. They were now part of the show and they couldn't have been more excited and nervous

This was something big, really big and they all knew it. They wanted to win but also have fun

"Scotty?"

"Yes Mitchy"

"That was good"

"It was"

"This could be something big"

"Yeah"

"I'm glad we're doing this together"

"Totally. I can't live without you Mitchy"

"Same here Scotty"

"I love you"

"I love you more"

"Impossible"

"Very possible baby"

Mitch kissed Scott cheek and the image started to fade

Present

"That was cute"

"Okay" Mitch said

"Well I guess you're actually really mad"

"Using your brain for the first time?"

"Rude"

"Okay"

"I... Mitch... I"

"You what?"

"Why can't I do it?"

"Do what?"

"Forget it"

Scott couldn't do it. He couldn't say he was sorry. He couldn't tell his best friend why he was sad and mad. He just couldn't.

That was very new for Scott. He told Mitch everything, but he knew he couldn't tell him about this.

He could say he was sorry, but there was something...

Scott was mad again when he remembered everything. He wasn't mad at Mitch he was mad at himself. When he realized he had been an asshole to Mitch he was even more mad at himself

He wanted to tell Mitch about what was happening but he couldn't... He... Scott... He was afraid.
