Chapter 4

Belle's POV

It was the prince?! "I was bored at the castle, and I needed something to do," he said. I noticed that he held some kind of case. I let him in and led him to the living. "Saiya and her mother isn't here, luckily," I said but whispered the last word. He clearly heard though. He sighed. "How do you tolerate them?" he asked. "They took me in as a child, and to repay them, I became Saiya's personal maid," I explained. I bowed to him and I started to walk off, but he grabbed me from behind and sat me down on the couch next to him. I could feel the heat rising to my cheeks. He smirked.

Soon after that, I went to the kitchen and prepared some food. After he ate, he left. I went up to the room at the end of the hall, on the left. I opened the door and entered. It was a music room filled with different instruments. I walked over to the violin and picked it up and closed my eyes. I played a haunting melody with intense deail.

When I finished, I set the violin down, and sat in the corner. I could feel tears welling up in my eyes. Why did Saiya-sama ban me from this room? It was my favorite room, and my violin was in here. I was with that violin when Saiya-sama found me at her doorstep. The only thing that I can remember before that was my brother, and my childhood friend.

Suddenly, a song filled the air. A voilin. It was like a reply to my song. It also had a haunting melody, but it seemed familiar. It had a complex melody, and I caught on quickly. I pulled out my violin and played harmony. The song ended, and there was no more mysterious violin player. He was gone.

Saiya and Saiya-sama soon came back, and our freedom was taken away. I went back to work, and my thoughts over came me.
