Chapter 14

[Belle's POV]

When we got back to the castle, we were both soaking wet. We were "scolded" by a few maids, but we didn't mind. I smiled as we walked hand in hand back to our rooms so we could change. I changed into a comfy blue dress and some black flats. I eyed the corsets that were hanging in the closet.

"There is no way I will ever put those on," I muttered to myself as I closed the closet.

I remembered Ikuto saying something about having a meeting so I would be alone for a while. When I thought about it, being queen seemed... Difficult. Also, if something happened to Ikuto, I would end up being the ruler of the kingdom. Was I ready for that? He had been taught his whole life on how to run a country, and I was a maid for a lot of my life.

As I pondered, I walked out of the room and wandered through the halls. I looked out a window and out at the castle garden. Miki was trimming bushes, even though she was to,d she didn't have to work. She was always happiest in the garden, or the art studio. She was talking to Yoru, who was sitting on the ground, watching her.

I smiled. They were able to have a simple relationship. I could tell they loved each other. Ran and Su were still 'single' but it was the same for them. They could be in a simple, normal relationship. I looked up at the white and poofy clouds, finding shapes. I looked at the clouds for a while and daydreamed of what it would be like if Ikuto and I could have a normal relationship. Not having to worry about the kingdom, taxes, war -well not how a king and queen would have to worry.

I sat in the window sill, daydreaming some more when I heard a voice calling my name. I turned my head and saw an old friend of mine.

"Amu!" I exclaimed, standing up.

She ran over to me and we hugged.

"What are you doing here?" She asked.

"Oh, Ikuto and I mayyyyy be in a relationship.... Together," I said, blushing a bit, but smiled.

"Really?!" She asked, surprised.

I nodded. We talked for a while together. She was in a relationship with Tadase ((A.N: IM SORRY AMUTO FANS!!! I'm an Amuto shipper as well, but for this story it had to be this way!)) and it was going well. Well, it was an arranged marriage, but they actually loved each other.

I loved Ikuto. He loved me. It was as simple as that.
