Chapter 26

Max's pov:

We finally get home as we heard noises coming from Ross and Shelby's room as we left it alone walking into ours.

I close the door behind me as I see (Y/N) whimper.

"What's wrong?"

"Can you help me get this dress off..." She said blushing as I blush more helping her unzip it and slide it off as she only wore a bra under neath.

(Y/N)'s pov:

I blush as I turn towards him seeing him take off his coat as I unbutton his shirt after he took off his bow tie. He places his hands around my waist as I blush a bit as he takes off my leggings including my socks and shoes included as I blush deeply looking at him. I lay back onto the bed as he lays on top of me kissing me gently as I kiss him back holding onto him.

He pulls back smiling. "Let's get some sleep" he smiles before grabbing his sweatpants and changing into those as I took his shirt and out it on giggling as he smiles and tackles me in bed.

I smile kissing his cheek before cuddling close as he wraps the blanket over us as we soon fell asleep.

The next morning...

I get up feeling a bit sick and feverish as Max laid next to me as its our day off as I sat up before running to the bathroom collapsing in there holding onto the rim of the tub. Max runs in hearing me fall as I look really sick as he places his hand on my forehead.

"(Y/N) you have a fever but if it has this effect it could be over 100 lets get you to a doctor" He said getting dressed as he picks me up running to the car.

We get to the doctors as I have an 106 high fever so I had to be hooked up to a few things to get some water and energy through my body as I lay in the hospital bed curled up as Max held my hand the entire time as he sat in the chair next to the bed as he frowns.

"You're gonna be okay....probably got a fever from champagne at the wedding last night..."

"I get sick from drinking a lot....how much did I have?"

"A bottle"

"Oh dear lord..." I groan curling up in the bed as a nurse walks over with water handing it to Max as she winks at him walking away.

"He's my fiancé lady.....don't think I didn't see that" I growl a bit as the nurse runs off as Max chuckles setting the glass down as I reach for it as he hands it to me as I took a sip spilling it on me as I frown. Max blushes as he grabs a napkin and helps me out.

"I hate being in the hospital...."

"I know you do sweetheart but it'll all be over.." Max smiles as he looks around seeing no one as he climbs in the hospital bed with me as I smile and nuzzle close.

An hour passed by as I got to go home as Max had me lay down in the backseat as he drives home.

Once we got home and settle in I called for pizza as Max chuckles holding me close on the couch as Ross and Shelby come in with tons of groceries as they put them away.

"Hey wanna play Mortal Combat?" I ask Shelby and Ross as they nod sitting on the ground as I stand and hands the controllers to them turning on the Xbox and tv.

"Okay whoever dies switches controllers" Max says as everyone nods.

I decided to go grab my laptop and start planning a few things for Max and I's wedding as he looks over smiling before kissing my forehead.

After a few games, Ross and Shelby went on a date as Max and I stayed on the couch cuddling while talking about our wedding.

"I can't wait" Max smiles.

"I can't wait either, I get to see you in a black tux your so handsome in one" I smile as he blushes.

"Well I can't wait to see you in a beautiful wedding dress" Max smiles kissing me gently as I blush deeply.

The next day at the offices I got a few texts from my mom saying she's visiting.

She gets to meet Max...hope she likes him
