"So you think you may have found him?" I heard Nash say from outside the bathroom door. He sounded so happy and full of excitement, It almost put a smile on my face.
"Okay call me with any further notice..."
"Bye..."
I heard huffs and puffs once he hung up the phone. I came out to see him with his elbows supported by his knees and his head laying in the palm of his hands. "What was that all about?" I questioned grabbing my things from the bathroom bringing them to my bag.
"I was so close..."
"I thought I found him..."
He said through light breaths with his head still buried in his palms. He brushed his hair from the rims of his face. His eyes were red and puffy making his icy eyes go dark. I sat next to him and looked at him in the eyes while he stared at the floor bored. "Nash?"
He rubbed his temples and turned to look me in the eye. "Listen... Don't loose hope, because it's not the end and in the end the last thing you loose is hope." I told him as I let my head onto the crease of his shoulder. "What if I've lost hope?" He asked turning to me. "Well, I guess I'm just going to have to make sure that doesn't happen." I said with a smirk. I slung my arm across his shoulder and stood up with him.
As cheesy as it was, it was true intact I live by that statement.
I heard the door open from down stairs and voices from the living room.
I heard people exchange greetings from the bottom of the stairs.
I heard a girls voice and suddenly got curious.
Me and Nash tip toed to the bottom of the stairs and stood there ease dropping on their conversation. I looked and saw a beautiful blonde girl sitting on the couch next to Sam, she was wearing all black from what I could see, and her blonde hair matched her dark blue eyes perfectly. "Nash?" Sam said looking at him from the edge of the stair case. He crouched down as quick as possible, attempting not to be seen but I'm afraid he was too late for that.
He poked his head up carefully looking at Sam with an innocent look.
"wait Nash!?" a female voice from the living room asked. "Stas?" he said getting up to go see her. He hugged her waist as if he hadn't seen her in ages.
"this is Stas." Nash said referring me over to her. She smiled at me as I introduced myself to her. I may not have known her but her smile went such a long way it was like I could tell everything about her.
We both started chatting together as the boys sat over on the couch doing the same as us. We got to know each other over the past 20 minutes and I explained to her how me and Nash met and how I've only been here for about 2 hours.
I asked how she knew Sam but it was like she didn't want to get into depth with it. I sat and thought for a second as I watched Sam eye Stasi up and down from head to toe. "Wait you like him don't you!" I said whisper yelling to her as if I was an excited second grader telling her a secret.
"What the hell!? No!" She said denying it.
"Oh please, I see the way you two make eye contact and the way he stares at you when your not looking.
"He does that!?" She question me while laughing in a whisper tone but quiet enough so the boys couldn't hear.
"Wait..." She asked me suspiciously.
"Does he like me back?" She started to question.
"Guess we just have to find out!" I said excitedly.
They would be the cutest couple, now all I have to do is find a way to get the two together. All of a sudden my side started to hurt once again.
This stupid mark hasn't left me alone and it's starting to hurt.
"Hey Stas, I'll be right back I gotta pee." I said lying to her as I ran into the bathroom and locked the door. The bruise on my hip started to cause sharp pain in my side making it start to tingle. I lifted up my shirt on my side and examined the horrific lump on the side of my hip. It had a small lump on the side but I figured it could have been from swelling, even though it hurt like a bitch. I probably just hit myself on something... That's all.
