Friday
Currently, it was around 7 o'clock and I assume the party has already begun.
Nash and Sammy have been taking what felt like hours to get ready downstairs, while me on the other hand, I've been ready to leave for the past twenty five minutes.
I had on a new pair of fitted jeans and a plain top that I've owned for years now. After checking out my appearance in the mirror I took pain killers in hopes that I wouldn't be stuck with another migraine.
I've been experiencing these stupid headaches for the past few days and nothing seems to help.
The numb feeling bump on my side hasn't gone down and I've come to the conclusion that it's not an ordinary bruise or injury.
After drowning the chalky tablets in my water and chugging it down, the door rang and the boys began to rush to the hall.
Stas came through the door looking absolutely stunning. Her outfit was perfect and her hair was so precisely in place that it completed what she was wearing. Her personality complimented her look, making it seem vibrant all together.
Sam on the other hand seemed to be drooling over her. It was like she had him melting at her feet.
Nash looked better than ever. He wore a simple outfit and his hair was flipped up, with his blue eyes shimmering under the artificial lighting.
Without another word being said all of us were into the elavator heading to the lobby.
Passing the hall we went out into the heart of the city.
It was cold out and I felt Nash sneak his hand into mine, acting like I didn't even notice.
I smiled to myself, probably blushing.
Sam got the car door for me and Stas, then Nash took the passenger seat, sitting directly next to Sam.
The drive was slower than I expected, but it gave me time to sit and think while Stas stayed on her phone.
Examining the view of how the sun went down in the city was stunning.
This place is really starting to feel like home.
I peeked over at Nash and how he sat in the passenger seat with his eyes glaring out the window and his elbow propping his head up on the ledge. His eyes, as clear as water made me want to fall in love with him right then and there. I loved how perfectly all his freckles framed his face and how wisps of his baby hairs fell on his forehead whenever he tilted his head to the side.
He was truely perfect, but I'm just not sure he felt the same way about me.
He doesn't think about me the way I think of him, but after all I've literally known this guy for about a week.
God damn he just makes me feel some type of way, and that's saying a lot considering he's almost a stranger to me.
I was so lost in my thoughts that I didn't seem to realize that the sky was currently pitch black and not a star to be seen.
Sam put the car in park on the side of the road, next to a roaring house of lights, music and people.
It was as if anxiety had taken over me an all of a sudden I seemed nervous to even step foot into the house.
The second I exited the car my heels sank into the muggy, wet grass.
"Hey, are you alright?"
Nash whispered into my ear as he held my cheek in the palm of his hand making me feel like I was safe.
"I am now."
Fuck, that was probably the most basic thing I could've said.
He smiled down at me, making me feel less embarrassed.
I went ahead of Nash and followed both Sam and Stas, as they entered the doors to the party, it was as if the noise blew up. Items were being thrown and people were out of control.
I felt Nash put his arm around the crease of my waists and hang onto me like I was a piece of property. Weaving through the rooms, we eventually made it to the kitchen where we met back up with Stas and Sam.
Red solo cups illuminated the entire floor and lights reflected off every edge of the room. Without any hesitation, Nash handed me a cup full of liquor. I looked up at him with pleading eyes and he seemed to understand that this was never my type of scene.
My eyes skimmed the room full of sweaty body's, not a familiar face to be seen.
I knew this would be a long night.
