"You didn't." Scott's mouth turned into an O.
"We did, Scott. But it meant nothing, alright?" Stiles rolled his eyes.
"Are you sure? Because I'm pretty sure she has a thing for—"
"Nothing at all! Wait, who does she have a thing for?"
"Jackson. He was all over her last night." Scott laughed. "I mean, she might have a thing for me too but—"
"Jackson? That douchebag?" Stiles questioned his friend.
"Yep." Scott walked up to his fridge. "Want a Coke?"
"Sure." Scott tossed Stiles a cold can. "Jackson..." he whispered to himself, squinting at the thought.
They heard a knock at Scott's door. Scott opened it up.
"Lydia!" Scott greeted the girl in the doorway. "We were just talking about you!" he was seemingly very awkward about the situation.
"Do you guys wanna go somewhere for dinner? We could go to that new pizza place down the street... or, like, McDonalds?" Lydia asked.
"Why?" Stiles asked.
"My mom's with her new boyfriend. Carl." she fake gagged at the name. "He's an asshole, but he's rich."
"I'll go to the place down the street... what's it called?" Scott asked. "It's, like, 'Paul's Pizza,' right?" Lydia laughed.
"No idea, but let's go."
30 minutes later...
"Oh! It's Pete's Pizza." Scott said as they all laughed and went in.
They ordered their pizza and sat in a booth. Scott took a sip of his drink and spoke up. "Guys..." Stiles and Lydia looked up from their food at Scott. "We're my OT3." They looked confused.
"What?" Stiles frowned in confusion and Scott rolled his eyes.
"It means I ship us... but as a group... duh." Scott broke eye contact and sighed with annoyance. "I'm gonna get a refill."
Stiles and Lydia began talking until they saw a familiar face walk in the door. "Jackson?" they said in unison.
"Oh, hey Lydia..." Jackson winked. "and hey... whatever your name is."
"It's Stiles." Everyone ignored him as Jackson sat in the booth with them, right next to Lydia. She looked uncomfortable and bit her lip. Stiles tilted his head to the right. "What are you doing here?"
"Just hanging out. I'm supposed to meet a friend here but I think he bailed." Lydia and Jackson laughed. "But I'm glad I came anyway." he looked at Lydia.
Scott came back. "Jackson!" he looked surprised and fake smiled.
They continued on with their awkward conversations until they were all done.
"Hey," Jackson whispered to Lydia while Scott was talking. "You wanna come over and help me study? I have a huge Algebra test tomorrow..."
"Sure."
Jackson smirked as his tongue swiped over his lips. "Welp—we gotta go. Lydia's helping me study." He took her hand and technically forced her over to the door.
"I'll text you! See you tomorrow!" Lydia panted as Jackson took her out the door. Stiles and Scott rolled their eyes.
30 minutes later...
"Alright so the answer is... x=12?" Jackson cluelessly asked.
"No." Lydia claimed. "Y is 12. X is 9.4, but nice try." she laughed, looking back down at the worksheet.
"C'mon Lydia. How are you so... oblivious?" Lydia was confused. "I like you. A lot." he smiled. "I don't actually want to study."
"What? Then what do you want to do?" Lydia giggled. Jackson grabbed her by the back of her neck and kissed her. What?? She was expecting, like, Monopoly or something!
He backed away from her. "Did you like that?" Jackson bit his lip. He didn't give Lydia a chance to reply because he kissed her again. Lydia was so... confused. No guy has liked her this way before.
"I have a question." Jackson said. "Do you want to be my girlfriend?"
Lydia was shocked at those words. "... Sure." she smiled. Jackson smiled back. He was about to kiss her again, but Lydia looked at her nonexistent watch. 'Gotta blast!' she thought. "I have to go, sorry. Good luck on your test."
She ran out of Jackson's house and reached for her phone. She dialed Stiles' number.
"Hello?" he said.
"Stiles? Can you pick me up from Jackson's?"
"Sure, what's his address?"
"It's, uh..." Lydia looked at the house behind her. "772 Baker Street."
"I'll be right over." Stiles claimed.
A couple minutes later, Lydia noticed a door opening sound. She looked behind her and saw it was Jackson. "Lydia! You forgot your pen." Lydia thanked him, took the pen, then saw Stiles' headlights appearing in the distance. "Wait."
Right as Stiles pulled up, Jackson grabbed Lydia by the waist and kissed her with passion. "Bye." he smiled. Lydia awkwardly smiled back and hopped into the car.
"You kissed him." Stiles awkwardly said.
"He kissed me... but yeah." she pursed her lips.
"I thought that was our thing." Stiles said, showing a puppy dog face. Lydia playfully hit him in the shoulder.
"Shut up." she laughed.
"So, are you guys a thing now?"
"I guess so. He asked me to be his girlfriend... and I said yes." Lydia shrugged. Stiles tried to avoid the topic.
"Hey, do you want a McFlurry?" He asked, noticing a McDonald's drive-thru up ahead.
"Oooh, yes! Get me the Oreo one."
He drove through the window and asked for two Oreo McFlurries and a text appeared on Lydia's phone.

Stiles saw the text without Lydia noticing.
lydia: sure.
