Sirius stared at the house in front of the house in front of the playground. He didn't understand why, but he knew that the young girl was lonely. He knew, of course, that she was in the Tremain's house, one of the most respected pure blood families, including his own. He watched as the door opened. His breath hitched; what happens if Lady Tremaine caught him staring? What if it was one of her daughters? To his great relief, It was only the young girl. Luckily, she didn't spot her yet. He watched as she said inaudible words, and, to his great surprise, a snow white (A/N, see what I did there?) horse. It must of know he was there as it pointed its head towards him. The girl followed her horse's gaze and spotted him. She nimbly climbed her horse and rode into the forest. The young boy had the sudden urge to follow her, and so he did.

Sadly, it was no use.

The horse was far too fast.

"What is it with that strange girl!?" He exclaimed, as he threw his arms up in the air in exasperation.

"Sirius, come here," a cold, deep voice spat, and he felt a warm, sweaty hand on his shoulder.

He knew all too well that it was his so-called father. "Let go of me." He said, dangerously, yet calmly.

"You will not speak to me that way," Orion Black said to his oldest son. The man had a mop of black hair, and dark, small eyes. His mouth was almost always a thin line, unless it was talking about blood purity with his death-eater friends. He had a long, thick neck that made him look like a large bull that got his neck tuck in a wall. "It's time to go, Sirius," the man emphasised, glaring at his son.

"Whatever," Sirius snapped, before following his father, his mind, not once, leaving the thought of the strange girl of Tremaine cottage.
