Icelyn sighed, the fifteenth time that day. She wanted to make friends, she really did, but demeanor was to shy to even say a simple hello. But there was something strange about that boy. He was, she guessed, different? Most of the boys in the village, when they saw her, tried to say hi only once. If she didn't answer, they would just walk away. This boy was rather persistent.

The young girl snapped out of her thoughts when a cold gust of wind interrupts her. At least, she thought it was a gust of wind. It was really a few birds flying past her and a small doe. The doe cocked her head to one side before a snap startled the two. Icelyn guessed it was a hunter. "Quick," she whispered to the doe, looking right at its small, beady eye, "Run! They're after you!"

As if the creature understood her, it gave a sort of nod and ran off into the forest. Icelyn quickly hopped on top of her horse and rode back to the stable.

She had to find a way to tell Vanessa that she was going to Hogwarts. Of course, she would ask Professor Dumbledore, the headmaster, if Vanessa could stay over at the large, beautiful castle-like school. She had heard that Dumbledore, himself, had a squib sister.

"Vanessa!" Icelyn called to her young squib sister.

"Ice!" Vanessa grinned.

"OK, you know how its my birthday today?" Icelyn Asked.

The young girl nodded, she looked as if she new what was going to happen.

"OK, so I'm going to have to go to Hogwarts."

"I understand," Vanessa sighed sadly. "Well," she said, her grin returning, "Make sure some boys fall in love with you!"

"Eww, Nessa, no," Icelyn shuddered.

"I'm kidding, relax!"

"OK, so I'm going to have to tell Step-mother that I'm going to Hogwarts, aren't I?"

"Yep!"

"Excuse me, step-mother?" Icelyn called.

"Yes, Icelyn?" Asked Lady Tremaine, a tall, ratty-like women with straw coloured hair.

"Well, its my birthday today, and, um, I have been accepted to go to Hogwarts. Do you think you could take me to Diagon Alley to get my things?"

"Very well. Get yourself ready. We leave in five minutes, five minutes,"Lady Tremaine said in a sharp, snappy voice.

"Thank you step-mother."

Icelyn was more than grateful, as she hurried off to her room, getting ready to go to Diagon Alley.
