The letter

A few weeks has past ever since Icelyn and Sirius talked in the forest. Yet, no matter how hard she tried, she just couldn't get the horrid names out of her head. She stared aimlessly at the fire, watching the little embers dance and hop around.

Suddenly, she heard the portrait door open, causing her to jump on the maroon sofa. "Sorry!" Lily apologised profusely, "I didn't know you were here. Do you want to talk about when you were in the forest with Sirius?"

Icelyn sighed, "I'm so confused, Lily. It's like, one day he's all nice and caring, the next, he just ignores you! I don't understand. I felt so safe with him that day. Now..." She sighed trailing off. The girl hasn't been stable for weeks, and she wasn't understanding why people called her names. She knew she wasn't pretty or smart, but that was no reason to do that. Especially when it's because of her blood type. A blood traitor.

The red-head was about to answer, when they were both surprised by an owl slamming into the window.

'Letter for Icelyn Tremaine," the owl hooted to Isabella, who smiled gratefully.

"Thank you so much," she cooed, before gently un-tying the letter.

As her eyes quickly scanned the letter, they widened, causing Lily to ask her, "what's wrong? Is everything ok?"

"She's in St Mungo's," Icelyn mumbled, before running off towards Dumbledore's study.

"Acid pop," Icelyn begged, hoping it was the correct password. Alas, to no avail.

"Sugar quill, lemon drop," she continued to say all the wizarding and muggle lollies she knew, until she was crying.
"Please! I need his help! Let me in!"

Finally, the gargoyle moved out of her way, allowing her access to the stairway to the professor's study.

"Thank you so much!"

"I think I know why you are here, ms Tremaine," a voice said, as she walked into the study.

"Professor Dumbledore! I have to go to her, I have to go to St Mungo's!" She begged, tears sticking into her face.

"Very well. We shall floo there," he gave her a smile, his eye twinkling. Although the man was old, it certainly didn't mean he can't cause mischief. He had saved James and Sirius when it came to their pranks, thinking they were funny and amusing.

"Thank you so much, professor!" And away they flooed.
