I am now twenty-one years old and just graduated from college. For the next few months I am going to be living with my cousin, Daniel, since he's the only one that stayed in Hawaii, while my Aunt Dona and Uncle Kyle are traveling around the world and enjoying their retirement. Daniel's brother, John, and his sister, Abbi, are at college. John, who is twenty-two years old, wants to become a professional football player, so he attends University of Oregon and Abs, who is twenty, goes to UCLA and studying to become a famous actress. The difference between my cousins and I was, they had the luxury life, while I had to work to get what I wanted. To say the name "Thompson" was known in the town they lived in, was an understatement. My Aunt and Uncle were very known people in Hawaii. My Uncle Kevin being a very successful businessman and my Aunt Dona, who dedicated her life to her career, was a great and very known pediatrician. Now that Daniel is of age, only twenty-four, took over his father's business.

My plane had just landed five minutes ago and I am on my way to baggage claim. While waiting for my bags, I text Daniel.

M: Hey cuz...r u here already?

D: Yeah...just pull'n 2 da curb.

M: K...steo wait'n 4 my bags....B out n 5.

D: Got it.

After his last text, I put my phone back in my pocket.

I got my bags and walked out of the double doors. The warm air of Hawaii had hit my skin and it felt good. I forgot how warm Hawaii could get in the summer.

As I was walking to the end of the sidewalk, I saw my cousin Daniel leaning against a black SUV, but I noticed he was not alone. He had about five other guys with him, if I didn't recognize one person, I would not have known these guys was his friends from childhood. Grrreeeaaat, I thought.
