Jen's P.O.V.

Me, Sarah, Holly, Vaila and Rachel lay under a blanket on the floor, clutching a bowl of sweets and giggling.

“And then, he kissed me.” Holly told us.

“What, while you were on the floor?”  Sarah asked. Holly nodded.

“He pulled me on top of him, and we just kissed for a while. It was... magical.”

“Whoa, you were on top of him?”

“Oh God Holly, you didn’t-”

“No, no, no, of course not!” Holly shook her head. “We wouldn’t, not in the middle of a field, anyway! And we’ve only known each other for a day, he could have all sorts of diseases.”

“Oh come on, Holly. We all know that those five boys are perfect. None of them have diseases.”

Sarah was right. They were perfect. And today had been so wonderful.

It was like a Disney movie – I was the young girl who wasn’t even looking for love, and Liam was the prince. But he hadn’t even asked me out yet, that was the only problem. I couldn’t help but wonder if he really liked me, or if he was just being over-friendly.

I shook my head as if shaking all the Liam-related thoughts from my mind, and turned to face Rachel.

“So, Rachel, you kissed Harry. What was it like?”

“Oh my Gosh, it was so amazing.” She said, beaming. “His lips were perfect... so soft, and lovely.”

Suddenly, my phone rang. I glanced at the screen, and my heart began to race.

“It’s Liam!” I told my friends.

“Answer it, then!” Vaila grinned. “And put it on speaker so we can all hear!”

I pressed the button and put a finger to my lips as I looked at my friends.

“Hello?” I said, trying to contain my happiness.

“Hey, Jen, it’s Liam.” Liam’s deep voice filled the room. My mouth was aching, I was smiling so wide.

“Yeah, I knew that.” I laughed. “Caller ID, remember?”

“Oh yeah.” Liam said. “I guess I’m just nervous...”

“Nervous about what?” I grinned, as me and my friends exchanged excited glances.

“Er... well... I wanted to ask you out.” Liam said, and it was like a billion fireworks were going off around me. My heart was thudding like a drum, and all of a sudden, I felt on top of the world.

“Hooray!” Sarah shouted, but then quickly put her hands over her mouth.

“Who was that?” Liam asked.

“Oh, er, it was Sarah. She just won Truth or Dare.” I lied, my voice trembling because I was so happy.

“I see.” Liam said. “Anyway, you will go out with me, won’t you?”

“Of course I will!”

“Great!” Liam said. “Can I meet you tomorrow at six, at the entrance to the park where the big tree is? I’m gonna take you out for dinner.”

I actually felt as if I was dreaming. This time yesterday, I’d never even met the boys, and now, I was arranging a date with one of them. A proper, romantic date.

“Oh wow, that’s so sweet of you Liam. I’ll meet you there at six, okay?”

My friends listened intently in hushed silence, none of them saying a word.

“Cool,” Liam replied. “See you there. Bye Jen!”

“Bye Liam.” I said, ending the call. I looked at my friends and grinned, before literally screaming, “I’M GOING OUT WITH LIAM PAYNE! OH MY GOD!”

I didn’t care if the whole world could hear me. I didn’t care if Sarah’s parents came barging in to tell me off. I didn’t care if people wanted me to shut up and stop acting like a five year old. I was going out with the most perfect boy in the world.

Suddenly, there was a knock at the door.

“I’ll get it,” I offered, standing up and leaving the room, half wishing it was Liam holding a bunch of flowers. But of course, it wouldn’t be.

I pulled open the door, and every ounce of happiness that was in my body drained out, leaving me feeling cold, shocked, numb.

“Jen,” said the boy standing there. “I’m here to get my girlfriend back, and I’m not letting you stop me this time.” He was shaking, raging, angry.

“It was for the best –” I began, but I didn’t get to finish my sentence. A fist came towards me, and I fell onto my back, pain rushing through me, while the boy ran up the stairs behind me.

And within a matter of seconds, I was out cold.

A/N: CLIFFHANGER! Ooohh what's gonna happen? You'll just have to wait! Muhahahah
