Chapter 6

Destiny POV

When I walked in the house everything was still the same from yesterday.

I just went to the kitchen and got some orange juice.

Just as I got finished pouring the juice I heard the door open. Great!

I saw my dad walk in as soon as he noticed me he walked over.

"Des-" I cut him off.

"Save it!" I took my juice upstairs to my room. I just don't feel like talking to anybody especially my father. I mean who lies about someone dying?

I need something to take my mind off this.I noticed the TLC movie was on!!

Towards the end my phone vibrated and I saw it was a text from Rome.

MyRome: Ayee wyd later

Me: Nun why?

MyRome: I'ma come over later so be ready by 8 

Me: Kay.

I looked at the time and saw it was 6. I took a shower and threw some basketball shorts and a white t-shirt and put my hair in a messy bun.

I had an hour left so I decided to finish homework and extra credit projects. Even though I'm a straight A student I still do extra credit stuff,that's why most kids call me a kiss ass and all other types a names but I don't let it bother me.

Just as I finished my last problem I heard a honk and I knew it Rome.I went down the stairs to the door only for my dad to stop me.

"Where you going out this late?" he took hold of my arm.

"Out " I told him simply while snatching my arm back.

"With who?"

Look I gotta go" I ignored his question cause it was irrelevant.

"Destiny I know your mad at me and you have a right to be but if you just let explain everything to you."

I sighed. "Fine. I'm free tomorrow at 10 we can go to breakfast or something. Now Can I go?" I was growing impatient.

"Yeah,you can go" finally!

I finally left and hopped in Rome's truck.He kissed my cheek making me blush.

"What's up beautiful?" Here I go blushing again!

"Nothing much,but where are we going? "

"It's a surprise. " he smirked

Lawd this boy right here!
