I'm So Sorry For Falling In Love With You

PROLOGUE - Mistake

"What the fuck, Jeff?!" Austin yelled, pushing the shorter man away from himself.
"I-I'm sorry, I thought-" Jeff stuttered, raising his hands in defense.
"What? What did you think? That it would be okay to just straight up kiss me??!!" Austin grimaced, looking at Jeff with disgust.
"I'm, I'm s-so sorry, I didn't-" Jeff couldn't think of a good excuse, his voice growing quieter under Austin's furious gaze.
"Jeff, I'm straight."
"I know, I'm sorry, I-" Jeff choked mid-sentence, tears threatening to fall from his eyes at any moment.
Austin groaned, pinching the bridge of his nose. For a moment there was no sound other than the happy, too happy, tune of Mario Party playing from the TV.
"You know what? Get out." Austin exclaimed in a cold tone, not even bothering to look at Jeff.
"Austin-" Jeff tried, his voice barely audible.
"Get. OUT." There was no pleading in Austin's voice. This was an order.
Jeff opened his mouth as to say something but decided otherwise and stood up. He walked over to the door and looked back at Austin.

He didn't even turn to watch Jeff walk out.
