Part 13

I woke up with a pounding head, in the back of the truck, we were moving.. I sat up only to be met with 4 eyes glaring at me, 10k and Cassandra's

"Umm.. Hey guys" I smiled, I couldn't remember anything from last night..

Cassandra scoffed, cuddling more into Ten's chest

"You know if you cuddle into him any more, you'll become the same person" I laughed..

"Just shut the fuck up, Niomi! And leave 10k alone, he's mines and not yours.. Got it now stay away from 10k" Cassandra shouted, just as we came into a little town. The truck came to a halt, Warren coming to the side of the truck

"What is all this shouting for" Warren said with her hands on her hips, soon followed by everyone else in the truck.

"Niomi, got drunk last night, and admitted her feelings for me" 10k looked down. All the memories came flooding back.. Oh shit.

"It was the alcohol t--"

"You were drinking, how much did you have" Warrens motherly side coming out

"Half bottle" I said hanging my head in shame.

"Half bottle of what" she said sternly
"Whiskey" I said looking at her

"And you didn't invite me" Murphy laughed
"Zip it Murphy" Warren snapped, and Murphy shut up.

"Hand it over" she said
I went into her bag, handing her the half bottle of whiskey, the bottle of vodka and the bottle of apple sours, I could feel all eyes on me.

I was sat in a small room, lying on the bed, writing in my book, I had done that in a while, I was doing little drawings, trying to take my mind off things.

The moon was bright, and the air seemed calm. I packed my bags, giving me enough water and food for me a Zac, i placed my sword over my shoulder with my bag, and was carrying my crossbow. Addy and Mack was on watch, Doc and Murphy was in one room, 10k and Cassandra was in the other.. Warren had a room to herself.

I quickly wrote a note, for the group

"Thank you, for taking me in, keeping me safe. Rescuing me, making me happy. I feel like I need to go, please don't try and look for me, get to California. Also I'm very sorry to Cassandra and 10k, I shouldn't have got drunk, i blamed it on the lose of my mum, but the truth is I was jealous of you relationship, because I had fallen in love with Ten, but I knew he was off limits. I tried to push my feelings back, but I found out that the more I tried that the stronger they became, I also drank because I lost my mum, I've lost everything.
Doc, I hope you find some kinda weed, you old stoner, you're such an amazing person, a grandad figure to me, and was always up for talking to me when I needed it, for that I'm grateful.
Murphy, you son a bitch, what can I say, you're sarcastic, but I love it! You need to know how to take you.. Thanks buddy :)
Mack, you be good to Addy and treat her right, or so help me, I'll come and bite you.. I'm kidden, but please keep her safe, she's an amazing person.
Addy, you're perfect, the big sister I never had, you knew all my secrets, held me at my lowest points, I love you Addy.
Warren, you are the mum off the group, the one who keeps everyone in line, never giving up on people, giving everyone a chance. Thank you for letting me be a part of this amazing group.. I love you all, and I hope for the best."

I let a tear slip and it landed on the page before folding it up, and leaving it on the kitchen table, before sneaking out the door, quietly closing it behind me, and tiptoeing passed Addy and Mack, and heading off into the darkness with Zac
