You and your friend, [y/f/n] had been friends with the boys of 5 Seconds of Summer since a year ago when you all met at one of their shows. You’re only friends with them, but you have secret feelings for Luke, and [y/f/n] likes Calum. And he obviously has feelings for her too.

You all decided to go to Six Flags this weekend while the boys were on break from the Take Me Home Tour. You had rode a few rides by mid afternoon. Nothing crazy like a rollercoaster yet. You had to stop quite a few times because of fans. But, overall, you’d had a fun day so far.

"Oh let’s go on that rollercoaster!" Calum exclaimed, pointing at a huge red rollercoaster above your heads.

"Yeah! I love rollercoasters!" [y/f/n] approved. She’s always been a thrill seeker.

"Sounds cool," Luke agreed, "You like rollercoasters, Alexis?"

"I love them," you boasted.

"Michael, what’s wrong?" You heard Ashton ask from behind you.

"Nothing." He looked a little nauseous or something. Maybe he ate too much popcorn earlier.

You all waited in line for about an hour to ride the rollercoaster. You talked to Luke the whole time. Gosh why was he so cute!?

As you got closer to the front of the line you started to notice that Michael really didn’t look so good.

"Michael, are you okay?" you asked, concerned.

"Yeah, it’s just…"

At that moment, you reached the front of the line. You would be the next people on the ride. You were standing by Luke, planning to sit next to him. Michael let out a huge sigh when you guys stepped forward. He looked horrified.

"Michael, are you scared of rollercoasters?" you questioned.

"…Yeah." he stuttered, looking embarassed.

"I’ll sit next to you. It’ll be fun!" you smiled while walking over to Michael’s side, so you could ride next to him, "Excuse me, Luke," you said as you stepped over him. Michael looked pleased. Luke, on the other hand, didn’t. 

Just then, the rollercoaster reached the loading dock, unloading all the people that just enjoyed the ride. The gates opened, allowing you all to get in your seats on the ride. Michael took a step back, but when he did you grabbed his hand, giving it a squeeze. 

"You’ll be fine," you reassured him. Luke let out a loud moan. What was his problem!?

[y/f/n] sat with Calum in the front, you and Michael sat behind them, and Ashton and Luke sat behind you. The ride got moving, and Michael looked even more nervous. You grabbed his hand again to comfort him. It seemed to calm him down a bit. When the rollercoaster cars began to go down the first hill, you threw up your hands, still holding Michael’s. You let out a scream and looked over at Michael. He looked content, not scared anymore, but not excited either. You just shrugged and enjoyed the ride. It looked like [y/f/n]and Calum had a good time on the ride, and you heard Ashton laughing the whole time from behind you. His chuckle is hysterical.

When you got off the ride, you turned to Michael,”So?” you asked, excited.

"That was pretty cool," he laughed.

"I told you!"

"Ugh," Luke rolled his eyes, "I’m going to the bathroom." He stormed off.

"Oh Lukey’s jelly!" Ashton chuckled. The rest of the boys laughed too.

"What are you talking about?" you wondered, confused.

"Luke likes you," Calum replied.

"Whatever," you shook your head and looked down.

"No it’s true," Michael admitted.

"Yeah, he totally didn’t even enjoy the ride, because you sat with Michael. He sat with his arms crossed the whole time!" added Ashton.

You contemplated for a moment. Could Luke really have feelings for you as well?

"Well, go talk to him!" [y/f/n] encouraged. You turned around and hurried down the concrete path, determined to catch up with Luke. He finally came into your view when you turned the corner.

"Luke!" you called, running up to him from behind. He turned around and stopped, looking surprised.

"Alexis, what are you doing?" his eyebrows pulled into a furrow as he watched you catch up  to him.

"I wanted to talk to you."

"About what?" he sounded irritated.

"Why are you so upset?"

"I’m not upset." he focused his eyes on something behind you.

"Don’t lie, Luke."

His eyes met yours, “I’m not lying!”

"I’m not stupid, Luke."

He looked down, fumbling with his fingers, “I just, really wanted to spend a lot of time with you today. And I thought maybe you…” he trailed off.

"I maybe what?" you questioned.

"…I thought you liked me." He kept his head down for a moment, but brought it back up when you didn’t say anything, "Sorry, that was stupid." He took a step in the other direction, but you stopped him by grabbing his hand.

"Wait, Luke." He turned, shocked, "I..I do have feelings for you." He just stared at you, still with a shocked expression on his face, until you pushed onto your tip-toes and kissed him, gently on the lips, while he kissed back, wrapping his arms around your waist to pull you closer. He broke the kiss and smiled at you.

"Excuse me?" You both turned to see a group of three girls standing beside you guys. Two of them were staring at Luke, but the other was looking at you with wonder. Fans. They probably hate me for being with Luke. You thought to yourself.

"We’re real big fans, Luke," one girl exclaimed,"could we maybe have a picture?"

"Of course." Luke smiled releasing you from his embrace. You stood aside while he visited with the girls. 

"You’re such a charmer!" you sarcastically exclaimed when they finally walked away. He chuckled.

"C’mon. Let’s go catch up with everyone else." He decided, grabbing your hand and leading you back to the rest of your group to finish you’re fun-filled day.
