We walk into the school, all eyes focused on us. I frown as I spot Dylan and Luke talking next to my locker. I lower my head as people glare at us. What is their deal? Daniel gets pulled into the crowd by his friends and it leaves Archer and I in the middle of the whole student body.
"I gotta go in early for Mr. Johnson. You think you can be a strong girl for me and handle them yourself?" He asks.
I bite my lip.
"Hey, there are teachers everywhere. They can't do anything. I'll make sure they move from your locker and you can get Ellie to stay with you."
I let out a sigh and he kisses my forehead, before walking over to my locker. The boys exchange scowls and they start talking.
"Liv! Hey!" I hear from behind me.
I turn around and my eyes meet Ellie's excited green ones.
"Hey El." I greet, trying my best to sound normal.
She smiles brightly at me revealing perfectly straight, white teeth.
"You got your braces off!" I say.
She nods excitedly and I hug her. She was so pretty even with her braces but not she's drop dead gorgeous.
"You look great El."
"Thank you." Ellie responds warmly.
I turn back to see Archer walking back to me, Dylan and Luke gone from my locker.
"Ok babe, I'll see you in science okay?" He asks.
I nod my head and begin to calm down as he walks away.
"Bye." I say back.
He turns around and flashes his award winning grin before turning the corner.
"Come on."
We head for my locker when Dylan comes up smiling brightly at Ellie and sending me deadly glares every time he gets a chance. I don't get it, what did I ever do to him?
"Dyl!" Ellie screeches as he reaches for her butt.
I roll my eyes and get the things out of my locker. I stand there awkwardly as they suck their faces off right in front of me.
"I'll be in the court yard..." I tell them, my voice trailing off as they take it a step further.
Ellie wraps her legs around him and he pushes her against the lockers, grunting slightly. I need Ellie to come with me to be on the safe side.
"Oh my gosh guys! The principal is coming!" I yell hoping that they'd buy it.
Dylan drops Ellie in an instant and I pull her with me towards the doors.
"Bye Dyl!" She says huskily.
I fake a gag as he winks at her.
"No PDA please. Especially from my best friend and that thing."
She shakes her wrist out of my grasp and crosses her arms.
"I don't know what your problem with him is Olivia."
I roll my eyes.
"I just don't like him."
She raises an eyebrow.
"He's never done anything to you."
That's what you think.
"Has he?"
I shake my head, not meeting my eyes with hers.
"That's what I thought."
Maybe I should tell her...she deserves to know that her boyfriend is a sociopath. If I tell her that, she's need to know about the gang and all the secrets. I suck in a breath and she snaps her eyes to mine.
"I have to tell you something." I say quietly.
Her face softens as she senses that somethings wrong and we go to the courtyard. There, I explain her everything. From my vandalized car, to Dylan almost killing me, to now. She stares wide eyed at me, lost for words. I look away as her eyes well up with tears.
"I'm so sorry..." Ellie starts off, "I didn't know."
A tear escapes and lands on her leg. She takes my hands in hers and stares me right in the eye.
"This will end soon Olivia. If you're part of it then so am I."
I shake my head and blink back the tears in my own eyes.
"If Dylan knows that I told you, Luke will kidnap both of us. I need you to pretend that you don't know."
"I can't do that Olivia! I don't even want to look at him because of what him and Luke did to you."
I sigh.
"Please Ellie. This is life or death for Archer." I plead.
She's silent for a moment and the bell rings.
"I'll think about it."
I frown as we get up and walk to class.
"Be careful." She says.
I nod and walk into science to be greeted by Archer.
"Hey." I smile.
He smirks at me and pulls me into his lap.
"Archer, we're in class."
He chuckles.
"And?"
I roll my eyes playfully and sit in the seat next to him. Dylan storms in moments after and his eyes find mine and I look away.
"Ignore him." Archer whispers to me.
I bite my lip. Should I tell Archer that I told El?
"Archer I-"
"GOOD MORNING CLASS," Our science teacher shouts, his voice booming through the classroom, "work on your study guides, they're due Thursday."
He turns around and starts to type furiously on his computer. The class chats amongst themselves and I look at Archer. He catches my gaze and smirks.
"Checking me out again?" He asks.
I shrug.
"I told Ellie." I whisper.
His eyes widen and I play with the hem of my shirt.
"You what?" He growls quietly.
I chew on my lip and look at the floor.
"I had to, she has that right to know."
His hand makes contact with the table causing a loud thud to fill the classroom.
"Olivia. This can ruin everything." He says loudly.
I look around the classroom as their eyes are on us, including Dylan's.
"Archer be quiet." I warn.
He shakes his head.
"I can't believe you did this. Your so fūcking stupid Olivia."
My heart tugs at his words and I look away. But he's not done yet.
"Do you know what you did? You just put our lives on the line. Idiot!"
My eyes start to water and a tear rolls down my cheek.
"I'm sorry." I mumble.
He looks at me, his facial expression doesn't change.
"She had to know."
He picks up his books and walks out. I let out a shaky breath.
"Where did Mr. Greyson go?" The teacher asks me.
"His mom called...his sister got hurt."
He turns back to his computer and I wipe the remaining tears.
••••••••••••••••
"Look whose coming." Ellie says, eyeing Dylan from the other side of the cafeteria.
"Oh joy." I respond sarcastically.
He makes his way over to us and I see Ellie's eyes flash with disgust.
"Hey babe." He greets her.
She smiles sweetly at him and kisses him on the cheek. I let out a breath of relief knowing that she chose right.
"Hey Olivia, there's a party tonight. You're going with me."
I groan.
"Do I have to?"
She nods.
"You're my party buddy. Since I know you won't get drunk, you can be my driver."
I groan once more.
"That means I have to stay the same amount of time that you stay."
She shrugs.
"I mean, you should really lighten up a bit and have fun. A lot has been going on with you. Ya know, being Archer's girlfriend and such."
Dylan looks up.
"I know, he's so much to handle. Always so needy."
We both giggle and I watch as Dylan's eyes drift back to his phone again. I saved that one.
"Ok, party tonight. Come over at six."
"Fine." I say as I get up.
I walk to closest bar and grill. They have the best green smoothies and I craved for something in my stomach right now. But considering the food I want fattens me up, I decided to go with a healthy option.
"What's your name?" The bartender asks me.
"Olivia." I smile.
He flashes a toothy smile back.
"What can I get for you miss Olivia."
"Can I have one large...actually make that small green smoothie."
He nods.
"Coming right up."
I watch him get out the fruits and spinach. Just then, my phone rings.
"Hey babe." Archer says from the other line.
"Hey..." I say back, my voice trailing away as I spot my mom at a table.
"What's wrong?"
I move to the other side of the bar.
"Nothing."
"Where-you."
I giggle.
"Your breaking up."
"What?"
"Yeah I mean is it that hard to believe, I'm at the bar."
It's silent on Archers side.
"Hello?" I ask.
"I thought...we would last longer?"
"Hell no."
This bar and grill has the worst service ever.
"Olivia." The bartender says.
I tell Archer to hold on and I grab my drink excitedly. These are my favorite. He chuckles and I pay him.
"I have to go Archer." I say.
He hangs up.

•Archer's POV•
I start to feel bad for yelling at my baby earlier and I walk to her lunch table to see that she isn't there.
"Where's Olivia?" I ask Ellie.
She shrugs and I pull out my phone to call her.
"Hey babe." I say.
"Hey..." She responds.
I get a weird feeling in my stomach.
"What's wrong?"
"Nothing." She replies quickly.
I sigh.
"Where are you?"
"Breaking up." She says.
My heart stops. Maybe I heard her wrong.
"What?" I ask to clarify.
"Yeah is it that hard to believe? I'm at the bar."
She ditched school to go hang at the bar? Is she with anyone. The questions fill my head.
"Hello?" She asks.
"I thought...we would last longer." I say sadly.
"Hell no."
I feel my heart drop. What's happening? Why do I even care if she breaks up with me? Why do I feel this way?
"Olivia." A man says.
Automatically, my blood begins to boil.
"Hold on."
I wait impatiently on the other line. Who is she with?
"I gotta go Archer."
I hang up and slam my phone on the ground. She just broke up with me.

I think this is my longest chapter yet. But what do you guys think? Comment below!
