It's Friday. Finally. No more Archer or Dylan for a whole two days. Well, after today which may end up fine or terrible. I get out of bed and hop in the shower. All week I've been lazy with how I dress, but today I have to be prepared. I put my hair into French braids, pull on some black leggings, put on my Nike half zip top and my black roshes. I decide to take the bus since number one, Archer has been acting like an asshole and number two, my car have street art all over it. When I get on, the smell of moldy bus seats and year old food fill my nostrils. I force a smile at the bus driver and she tells me to sit down. All seats are taken and she's getting pretty irritated. I walk down the aisle and get pulled into a seat. The bus driver starts the engine and zooms off down the road.
"Hey what the-oh Ellie! Hi." I greet.
Ellie smiles and turns back to her phone.
"There's a party tonight. You're going."
I stay quiet because I really don't want to lose another argument with Ellie. It happens all the time. She says something, I disagree, she insults me and black mails until I say yes.
"Wait why are you on the bus?"
She shrugs.
"My car broke yesterday after cheer. The wheels had holes in them. It was really weird like they were arranged."
My hands get clammy and I force a 'oh sorry about that' to play it off. If that was Dylan...boy do I have something coming. We pull up into the school and the kids file off the bus. I walk with Ellie to the courtyard since we got there early.
"Did you do the math homework?" She asks as we sit down under a tree.
I hand it to her in exchange for her language arts study guide answers. We work and have small talk until some of the football players come join us. And of course, Dylan has to be there. Ellie smiles and stands up. What is she doing? He hugs her and plants a small kiss on her lips.
"Ellie, meet Dylan, my new boyfriend." She says happily.
Dylan smirks at me as my mouth drops to the floor.
"You're dating him?" I ask in disgust, "since when?"
She sits down with me and he follows, I groan and she shoots me a 'stop' look.
"He helped me out yesterday after my car stopped. He was right behind me on the highway. If it wasn't for him, I'd be wandering off somewhere. Lucky for me he was so close!"
I roll my eyes. Sometimes, Ellie can be an airhead. He was following you idiot, and he's the one that did that to your car.
"Well um Ellie..." I start but Dylan sends me a deathly glare and I shut up.
Boy if looks could kill...
"I have to go to class." I say, suddenly feeling sick to my stomach.
She doesn't hear me because they're to busy sucking each other's faces off. I get up and rush to my locker. Archer stands there texting. RIGHT in front of my locker. Why is my day getting worse? What did I ever do to deserve this.
"Um, you're blocking my locker." I say quietly.
He looks up, rolls his eyes and walks away. I open my locker and stuff my bag in. I was sort of looking for an explanation for yesterday but I guess it's better if we don't talk. I mean, Dylan didn't even notice me until I started talking to Archer. For an hour, I sit in the girls bathroom and think. Why does Dylan hate me? Why does he hate Archer? What type of "club" were they in? The questions flow endlessly and my brain aches. The bell finally rings and I rush to class and take a seat in the back of the class. In groups, the student come in and when Archer finally comes, I look down. He takes a seat in the front and I slump down in my chair. Why is he ignoring me?

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I sit in the seat next to Ellie and almost vomit when I see her and Dylan rubbing noses. I push my lunch aside and look around for anyone else to sit with. When all else fails, I move to the opposite side of the table and put my head down. The kids rambling about the party fades slowly and I start to drift asleep when I feel a sharp pain on my head. I jerk my head up to see a laughing Dylan and I glare at him while rubbing my head.
"What the hell? Where's Ellie?" I ask, redoing my braid that he yanked.
He shrugs.
"Do you even like her?" I say.
He shrugs again and I stand up.
"Whoa, where are you going?" He asks.
I scoff.
"What? Did you think I would stay here with you?"
He chuckles, but it sends chills down my spine.
"Listen, I think we need to talk." He says standing up.
I start to walk away. I push the doors open and start down the hall when I feel a hard hand grasp my wrist.
"We are going to talk. Right now." Dylan says coldly.
I suddenly kick him in the...you know what area and take off running. He yells profanities at me and I run straight into the girls bathroom and into a stall. Just when I thought I made it, I hear running into the bathroom and I hold my breath for dear life. He kicks each stall door and when he reaches mine, he crawls under and I stand there praying that he won't hurt me. Instead, he pulls me into a hug and I let out a breath.
"I'm not going to hurt you." He says.
I sigh and try to unlock the door.
"After this." He says.
I look at him and he grabs my waist.
"Don't hurt me, don't hurt me." I whine, kicking and pushing him.
Just then, the door flings open and Archer stands there. He pulls me out of the stall, punches Dylan and tells me to run. I take off running and I run straight into the principal.
"Where are you going in such a rush?" She asks me.
"The girls bathroom! There's a fight!" I say, out of breath.
She shoots a look of concern at me and follows me into the empty bathroom.
"Very funny Olivia." She says.
I look in all of the stalls.
"They were here, I swear!" I plead.
She waves me off and walks out.
"Damnit!" I whisper.
"That's not a very nice word princess." Someone says from behind me.
I flinch when the unknown someone touches my shoulder and I run into his arms when I see Archer's face.
"It's okay, I'm here." He coos into my ear.
"Archer, what's going on?"
He sighs.
"I'll tell you, but we have to get out of here."
I nod and we get our things and go to a small coffee shop.
"I'm part of a..."
