Ella's hands hesitated on the tops of my arms when I didn't say anything.

I, however, was too busy gawking at the view. Before me laid an expanse of green and blue.

My brain nearly couldn't comprehend what my eyes saw. It was all so picturesque. My first logical thought was, Of COURSE she would bring me to see a waterfall. The water rushed by faster than I would ever have guessed it would, far below us.

We stood behind a log fence, keeping us from sliding down the steep decline towards the water. The fence itself even looked perfect, ad though it bad sprouted from one of the trees scattered throughout the lookout.
"Where are we?" I asked, in awe.

"Wonderland," Ella answered casually, and giggled at the look I shot her. "No, for real though, I'm not telling you."

I pursed my lips and turned back to the water. "I bet there's dead bodies in that water," I said, thinking such conclusions were normal everywhere.

Ella suddenly stiffened. I turned to see her watching me with one eyebrow raised. "Why do you say that?"

I leaned back against the fence. "Well," I began, "if I were going to hide a body, I'd hide it somewhere no one would think to look. A place lots of people come to see, like a waterfall. No one would suspect a dead body behind a waterfall."

I hadn't realized I was rambling, but Ella's face made it clear. Apparently the natives didn't think too deeply about the scenery, or what or who may be lost in it.

She put her hands on my shoulders, lowering her head to look into my eyes. "You, my friend, have problems."
