...and something surprised Melissa in the principals office.

Shelby?

What is she doing here?

"Melissa and Shelby. Veronica has reported that you guys have been keeping secrets from us. And the students in the school. So, would you like to share?" The principal says in a calm tone as he quietly shuts the door...

"Um..." I say "not really."

"What the hell do you mean by NOT REALLY?! DO YOU WANT ME TO START SWEARING? NO! I DID NOT THINK SO!" Veronica screams at me.

"Hey...hey...hey calm down Veronica. There is no need for the bad language. Now, Melissa and Shelby...you must tell me this secret at once." The principal says as he is slowly starting to get stressed out.

Melissa and Shelby both give each other the looks that say ' WHAT DO WE DO?'

Shelby was terrified. She did not know what to do. If she told the principal and Veronica that they can time travel, then they will get in so much trouble. But if she did not tell them, she would be in so much trouble.

So either way...

She and Melissa will end up getting in trouble.

Wait...

Shelbys dad told her one thing before he left her and her mother 'there is always another way. If you are stuck, find the opening.'

Shelby did not know exactly what that last part meant about 7 years ago, but now she does.

It means, when you think that something is impossible, find another way.

That's it!

Me and Melissa could time travel so that none of this could ever happen!

While Shelby and Melissa were thinking of what to do...

Veronica was doing something else.

In the mind of veronica...

I can't believe that my brilliant plan will work!

Jackson will surely take me back after I am done with my love potion cookies!

On my notepad:

Step 1: Get Melissa and Shelby to spill the beans about their necklaces. (What do they do?)
(Omg! I just heard them talking about time travel! I am writing this down!)

Step 2: Tell the principal that I am sorry for swearing and I will not do it again.

Step 3: do my happy dance in the bathroom 😃

Note to self: stop writing stupid stuff in this notepad because they could read it and find out what the hell I am doing!

Before Veronica could write something else in her notepad, Melissa finally spoke up and said...

"ON THE COUNT OF THREE SHELBY!!! ONE!!! TWO!!! THREE!!!"
