2 Time traveling kids

Who did it? Part 1

Wow. Melissa thought to herself, did someone really want to kill us?

While Melissa and Shelby were thinking the exact same question in their heads, Melissa finally took up all her courage and said:
"Hey Shelby, I don't think that was supposed to happen. Maybe it blew up because I licked it then the thing inside went beep boop beep then BOOM. So, ya!"

"You really need to pay more attention in class." Shelby says with a little smirk on her face.

While Melissa is thinking of what to say next, Shelby was still wondering, who could have done this? Why? Why did they want us on a tracking device? Me and Melissa have to get to the bottom of this.

"Hey Melissa! Maybe we can figure out clues on what happened!"

"Huh?"

"Ok. I will speak to you in Melissa language. We.............can............go........over..........our.........day............because..............we........are........time-"

"Time travellers! Right! Yes! Shelby! See, we can jump back to earlier today to see who did this!"

*sigh*

"I WAS GOING TO SAY THAT!!!"

"But I said it first!"

"I WAS GOING TO SAY THAT IF YOU HAD NOT INTERRUPTED ME!!!" Shelby screams at Melissa.

"Jeez. You DONT HAVE TO YELL AT ME!!!"

"Ok. You are very loud when you are angry Mel."

"I know." 😝

*sigh*

"Now can we go and jump back to earlier?"

"Sure thing."

2 hours earlier.......

"Ok Shelby we are in the exact same place before we heard Veronica and Marcus talking."

"Lets go see the place where you had the bug on your shoulder."

"Quickly!"

Melissa and Shelby ran as fast as they could to the exact place that Shelby had a bug on her shoulder when they saw someone that they did not expect.....
