Tanner's POV
"Hey man, I'm gonna miss you so much next year. Thanks for being a brother to me all these years." Julz's little brother Isaac whispers in my ear as I'm giving him a hug after graduation.
I love Isaac and the whole crazy Adams family. We've all been together on every major milestone, and I'm as close to Isaac as I am to my own little brother Jared. I'm so happy I'm only going to be an hour away from them at college, so they can all come to my baseball games and I can go home to spend the holidays with them.
It also helps that I'm going to the same school as Julz so I can always see her. She's been there for me through everything, and every friend group I've ever had has always had one consistent person: Julz. I just can't even consider going to such a huge place like UW without her.
She's amazing. By far the smartest person I've ever met. She got into the Honors biochemistry program at the U, and graduated with a 4.0 from our high school. And she still managed to have fun, and play volleyball and run track! If she couldn't be better, she's also hands down the funniest girl I know and has a great heart. I'm blown away with how lucky I was to have gotten to grow up alongside her. All my friends are surprised we haven't date yet, and while I've obviously considered it (because she's also stunning) I just couldn't handle it not working out. She's never even shown any interest, and I've been fine with the other girls I've dated. Some things just don't need to change!
