Being Jacob's Imprint was...challenging. There was no doubt that Jacob was a loving, caring and (over)protective boyfriend; but he always seemed to put you second.
It had been weeks since you had last seen Jacob. He was on the Cullen's territory, helping Bella through her pregnancy. He had left the pack and you for Bella. What was even worse was that your older sister and little brother, Leah and Seth had left with him.
you sat alone in your room, curled up in your favorite furry blanket. You looked out the window, your favorite cup of herb tea in your hand. you didn't know how to feel. Did Jacob actually love Bella more than you?
You had finally stopped crying, your eyes felt raw and you knew for sure that they were bloodshot. There was a soft tap on your open door, you didn't bother lifting your head up. "Go away." You didn't even recognize your own voice.
"It's me." Paul's voice filled the room. You continued staring blankly out your window. You felt the bed dip slightly. "I'm leaving with Embry, Jared and Quil to talk to Jacob." the sound of your boyfriend's name made all the feelings rush back.
The sadness, the anger, the hatred for Bella; it all came rushing back like a flood. Paul rubbed your leg soothingly. "I'm so sorry." he whispered.
That seemed to do it for you, you started balling. You chocked on the air as you sobbed softly. Paul wrapped his arms around you and pulled you to his chest. "Shh. Shh. Shh. It's okay, it's okay." Paul cooed gently in your war. "Do you want to come with us? You don't have to talk to him, if you don't want to."
You froze. Did you want to see Jacob? After all the heartache he put you through these past weeks? What if Bella was there? There was no doubt if you saw her, you wouldn't hesitate to rip her head off. "I'll go." You sniffled.
Paul nodded and left your room, allowing you to pull yourself from your warm, cozy bed. You threw on your on your favorite sweatshirt, not bothering to change out of your yoga pants.
You opened your door to see Paul standing there. he offered you a small smile before taking your hand in his.

When you got to where Paul and the boys were meeting Jacob, you immediately regretted coming. Embry sensed your uneasiness. "It's okay y/N, it'll be okay." he hugged you tightly. Embry kept his arm around you as you walked to the edge off the cliff.
You recognized Jacob, he was in his human form. He only wore a pair of grey sweats that hung dangerously low on his hips. You barely were able to look away, instead you snuggled into Embry's embrace.
Jacob couldn't believe his eyes. you were actually here, in front of him. After so many weeks without seeing your beautiful face, or hearing your laugh, he missed you dearly. he growled lowly when he saw the way you were cuddled up to embry. How dare someone touch his imprint!
Jacob calmed himself and took another look at you. You looked terrible, beautiful, but still terrible. Dark bags were under your beautiful eyes, you look extra skinny, and you didn't have that amazing smile he adored dearly. He frowned to himself.
It was his fault you looked like you had been through hell and back. he abandoned you. He left you to help Bella.
Jacob took a step forward, wanting nothing more than to hold you and tell you everything would be over soon.
"Jacob." Paul nodded his head. Jacob was to distracted by Embry squeezing you softly; it should be him holding you.
"Paul." he turned his unwilling gaze to his former pack member.
"Sam's willing to forgive your outburst." Paul said calmly.
"Good for him." Jacob's eyes were glued on you.
"He says he's willing to accept you back into the pack."
"Who said I wanted to come back?" He laughed bitterly.
Your heart seemed to break into millions of pieces. Jacob didn't want to come back to La Push, he didn't want to come back to you.
"You being here fucks up a a lot of things Jacob. Do you know what you've put Y/N through? You know what you put your dad through." Paul said.
Jacob glanced at you. He had hurt you beyond repair. Was it to late to fix it? Was it to late now to say sorry? Was it to late now to fix the two of your guy's relationship.
"I'll think about it. I probably won't come back anytime soon. So just move on." Jacob said, but he was directing his words to you. "Just forget about me." he mumbled, turning to leave.
You watched as the love of your life walked away from you. You couldn't help but put your face in Embry's chest, and cry.
