Sleep

Part 3

I watched him fall asleep and I let out a small sigh. I thought of whether I should leave or not. Staying here might not be the best idea. Yeah I would have to walk home alone in the freezing snow but oh who am I kidding I want to be here. I just knew by looking at him sleep that I was falling for him. Seeing his chest rise and fall with every small sweet breath he took made my heart melt. I didn't care about anything else right now. I just wanted to snuggle up right next to him and go back to the night of the party. I wish I could tell him I still had feelings for him but I think I need to just enjoy this moment. My eyes started to close and I took a deep breath. I took in his lovely scent and started to drift off to sleep.
I woke up due to some shuffling in the bed and felt an arm around me. I was lying on my back in the middle of the bed. I rubbed my eyes to try to get a better look around the room but I noticed that it was definitely not time because it was still dark. I felt the arm let go of my waist and I turned and saw Andy get up from the bed. His hair was all messed up and he stretched out his arms as he yawned. He walked in to the bathroom and closed the door. I moved over to the the side of the bed he had been sleeping on and reached for his phone which was on the bed side table. I pressed the home button to see the time. It read 4:30. Oh god I needed to fall back asleep or I will be in an awful mood tomorrow. I looked down and saw that he had a message from Kiv.
'I saw you leave with Hayley. You are going to have to give me the details later. ;)'
I blushed and rolled my eyes. I heard the faucet turn on and I quickly put his phone down and moved back to the middle of the bed. I laid on my back like before so it seemed like I didn't wake up. He opened the bathroom door and let out another yawn while scratching his head. I closed my eyes before he could see me and waited for him to crawl back in bed. I heard him stop right before the bed and heard him pick up something that I assumed was his phone.
"Fuck I need to sleep" I heard him whisper to himself. I could barely hold back a smile because I remembered how truly lazy he was and how much he used to sleep all the time. He let out a soft chuckle which I assumed was from Kiv's text. I heard him put the phone down and he pulled back the blankets so he could get back in bed. It took me by surprise when he made his way to the middle of the bed and put his arm back around my waist. He pulled me closer to him and I felt him give me a light kiss on the top of my head. He was so warm and cozy I couldn't help but fall back asleep.
I woke up to a phone going off and I let out a groan. I was still tired and didn't want to get up.
"Hello?" I heard Andy say. I didn't want to open my eyes in hopes that I could make myself fall back asleep. He spoke softly on the phone but I wasn't really listening to the conversation. Once he hung up and put the phone down I nuzzled my face into his chest.
"It's noon." I now knew he was talking to me but I didn't respond.
"We should get up and eat something." He said while pulling away from me just enough so he could see my face. I pouted like a little kid which made a big grin spread across his face.
"I know it is warm in bed but I am starving. I don't have plans but you might so we should get up."
"You honestly think I have plans today. That's sweet of you to assume" I chuckled and kissed his cheek. I don't know why I kissed him, it kind of just felt like the right thing to do. As I pulled away I looked at his face which was bright red and he was biting his lip trying to hold back a smile but he was failing miserably. I started to get out of bed but as soon as I pulled the covers off of myself I felt the cold air and regretted getting up. I had goosebumps all over my arms. I was just going to suck it up and wait until we went downstairs and get my jacket. Andy got up from the bed and walked over to his closet and pulled out a blue sweatshirt and ran over and put it around me.
"Here. You can wear this." He smiled at me, making me smile back. He left the room so that I could 'get ready'. I went to his bathroom and took a quick shower. I didn't want to wash my hair because of how much colder I knew it would make me when I got out so I just put it up in a messy bun. When I got out of the shower I put on my jeans and shirt from last night and then put on Andy's sweatshirt zipping it up all the way so I knew it would keep me warm. I made my way downstairs and walked toward the kitchen.
"So I really do not have a lot to eat so Kiv said he was going to come by with a pizza if that is ok with you?"
"Sounds good!" It actually sounded awful. I know Kiv knows I slept over here and he probably thinks a lot more happened then us just sleeping in Andy's bed. I went and sat in the living room feeling a bit tense so I turned on the TV and started flipping through the channels. Andy strolled out of the kitchen and tossed me a water bottle.
"Thanks" I said to him. He was just about to sit when the door bell rang. He put his water bottle on the coffee table and ran to get the door. I heard more then just Kiv's voice when he opened the door. I heard Jorm and his wife Marielle. Even though I knew all of these people so well my anxiety was through the roof because I thought they would know that I slept in Andy's bed last night. I know it's not that big of a deal to sleep next to someone but it made me embarrassed especially because I can only image how Jorm would react. They all walked in to the living room and said hello to me. The boys went to the kitchen to put the pizza down and get plates. Mari sat next to me and smirked.
"So it must have been pretty cold in here last night or was it hot?" She winked at me and I nudged her.
"It was not hot." I rolled my eyes.
"Oh so what did you do just sleep on the couch?"
"Well no but" I was cut off by the guys walking back into the room with plates full of pizza. I was handed a play by Andy and he plopped down in a reclining car near the couch because Jorma took up the last sear on the couch next to Mari. Kiv sat in any other cushioned chair which was across from Andy's. We all ate pizza and watched mindless television until about 4.
"Alright I think it's time to head out." Jorm said as he got off the couch. Mari and I followed his lead and also got up. Andy was in the kitchen doing dishes so I walked in to say goodbye.
"Hey Jorm, Mari, and I are leaving. Thanks for letting me stay here last night and it was nice catching up with you." He turned away from the sink and walked toward me.
"Oh no problem." He looked over and made sure that the rest of our friends couldn't see us and he wrapped his arms around.
"I heard it is going to be pretty cold tonight so uh if you aren't doing anything later you should come over." He said to me with a small smile on his face. I smiled back and he kissed me on the cheek. We heard footsteps approaching the kitchen so he let go of me and we made some space between us. As Mari and Jorm said goodbye to Andy I went to the living room to say bye to Kiv.
"I'm sure I will see you soon, Kiv."
"Yeah totally! You guys will all have to come see the kids and Liz at my place." I agreed and he gave me a hug.
"By the way nice sweatshirt." He whispered in my ear right before pulling away from the hug. I felt my face burning up and I made my way toward the door with Jorm and Mari following. Once we got outside we found their car and all got in. Jorm started up the car and we were on our way to his place. I was staring out the window and I lifted up the collar of Andy's sweatshirt and and took in his scent. I smiled and looked up and saw Jorm looking at me from the car mirror. I quickly looked away and went back to looking out the window watching the city pass by.
