• 1 - Subject 62.

Shinya Hīragi's point of view;

"My name is Shinya Hīragi, I'm a human... I-I'm in, the Ja-Japanese Imperial demon army." I quietly whisper to myself. As I slowly rock backwards, and forwards.

I have been stuck in this lab for so long, deranked, disowned, stripped of a uniform, and identity.

All I am now, is a number.

But I can't even remember what number I am.

I close my eyes, groaning loudly as my head begins to hurt.

I've been tested on, so many times - these are the only clear memories I have.

First, I was tortured. Tortured until I broke - told them everything I knew, about the Hīragi's, about the Seraph, about the Vampires, and about Guren.

They then began to run several tests on me - injecting my blood into a vampire, seeing if it'd satisfy it's needs. Then, attempting to get me possessed... watching me, and taking notes, as I rampaged the labs. Injecting me with a series of medications, and illnesses.

The current tests are to see if I can successfully become a Seraph.

I burry my head into my hands, hissing lowly at the pain.

The blinding whiteness of the walls is driving me insane.

The needle marks on my arms are driving me insane.

The faint markings, that are all over my body, from several demons and a seraph are driving me insane.

But, in a place like this - going insane is the only sane thing to do.

"M-My name is.. Sh-Shinya. I-I was, p-part of the Japanese I-Imperial demon army.. I-I used to be human.."

[I don't really want to give much away in an introduction, so that's why it's so confusing.

This will be Gureshin - but it's mainly about Shinya.

Gureshin probably won't happen until a few chapters in.
