Please don't hate me, I've been planning all of this.

And if you haven't read the previous oneshot, go do that now! Read that one first! If you somehow don't know which one the previous one is, it's called 'The Proposal'. Do NOT read this one before that one!

< Three Years Later >

"Josh, where the hell are you taking me?" Vikk asked, walking in the direction Josh was trying to lead him in since he couldn't actually see for himself. Reason being the taller had tied a blindfold around his eyes before they had left the house.

"Just hang on, you'll see," Josh stated, probably for the millionth time.

"Will I?" Vikk huffed, crossing his arms whilst walking. Josh rolled his eyes at the younger's behaviour, knowing that he wouldn't be acting that way if he knew what was happening. A little backstory: Simon had left earlier that day claiming he had to do something. Vikk, having wanted to spend the day with Simon, felt disappointed but knew he had to let Simon do what he wanted sometimes. Yet that was in the morning - it was early evening now.

"Look, not far now..." Josh said, guiding him a little further. "And we're here!"

< Vikk's POV >

The fabric fell from my eyes and I blinked as I adjusted to the light. We were in a...park? What did Josh want me in a park for? I looked around me, seeing several other people surrounding us, as well as a few recognisable faces; Tobi, Harry, Ethan, JJ...and Simon? I glanced back at Josh, confused, only to realise he was no longer behind me. Looking back at the scene, I realised something - Simon had his guitar and was casually strumming a few chords. A few months ago he had started properly learning how to play, and I would be lying if I said he wasn't making excellent progress. Once he noticed me standing and watching him, he smiled, starting to pluck a somewhat familiar tune. The others, now including Josh who had walked over to talk with Tobi, looked up at the sound of the song, causing me to wonder what it was that was going on. That's when the singing started.

"When I look into your eyes, it's like watching the night sky. Or a beautiful sunrise. There's so much they hold."

I gasped as the song he started singing instantly rang bells in my head. He always said that to me at his most romantic moments...so that's where he got it from...I kept listening closely, joining the lyrics to personal experiences.

"And just like them old stars, I see that you've come so far, to be right where you are. How old is your soul?"

I thought back on the three years of us being together, as well as the several years before of just knowing each other. We really had come a long way, hadn't we?

"I won't give up on us. Even if the skies get rough. I'm giving you all my love. I'm still looking up."

Simon was like my guardian angel, in a way. He always said he'd protect me no matter what. And I had no doubt that he'd keep that promise.

"And when you're needing your space, to do some navigating, I'll be here patiently waiting, to see what you find."

I realised just how much we could relate to this song. There were odd moments in time where I would want nothing but to be alone, and Simon would agree knowing I would go back to him later when everything was alright again.

"'Cause even the stars they burn. Some even fall to the earth. We've got a lot to learn. God knows we're worth it."

My eyes watched his hands as he played his guitar, his fingers gliding over the strings expertly. He must have practised a lot to play this without much effort or mistake.
