So you guys know that feeling where you're reading the second part of an unfinished three part story and you're thinking "wow, I wish I could read the last part"...then you realise that you're the writer of the story.
Here's the end...you've waited way too long for this, I think...man, this took a long time to finish.
~~~
After about twenty minutes, I decided to check on the boys downstairs. They had been mysteriously quiet recently, which was uncharacteristic for any of the Sidemen.
I soon found out why.
"I can't, I can't, I can't, I can't-"
"Simon!"
"I can't, I can't-"
"Simon, dude, look at me!"
"No, no, no, this is too much, I can't..."
"Simon?"
"Stop it!"
Just as I was about to walk into the room, a crying Simon shoved past me and sprinted as fast as he could up the stairs. After a moment of shock, I turned to see Josh and Ethan standing in the doorway, both looking like they wanted to go after the blond, but deciding against it. Both of them were staring up at where Simon had ran to, before turning their heads to me simultaneously.
Heaving a sigh, I gestured for them to follow me back into the living room, knowing that they wanted an explanation.
"Okay, what the heck-"
"Emotions are weird things, aren't they?" I interrupted Ethan, catching them both off guard whilst gaining their full attention. "Normally, I wouldn't share this type of information, but...I guess it's the only way to help this situation."
The two of them were confused - I could see it clearly in their eyes. I had to word this in a way that would lead them to help Simon and not be driven away.
"Here's the thing..." I began, "Simon has a crush-"
Both of their faces fell at the same time; they had been doing a lot simultaneously recently.
"-On two different people."
It took them a second, but slowly their faces turned from disappointment to surprise. Josh was the first to speak.
"What? Who does he..." he trailed off.
"I...honestly don't know who. But there's a chance that it's the two of you, which means that you are the only ones who can help. And besides - I know you both like him," I added at the end with a smirk. Something told me that they didn't quite catch what I said properly, since they didn't seem to react to my last sentence.
"He was saying that something was 'too much'..." Ethan muttered. I nodded.
"He was probably too overwhelmed by being near the two of you, especially since he realised that he liked two people just recently," I reasoned. Josh looked set in stone.
"I'm gonna go help him, right now," he announced, standing up and marching out of the room. Ethan went straight after him.
"Yo, dude, wait for me!" I smiled, knowing that the two would stop at nothing to help Simon feel like his usual self again. But before they got out of hearing distance, I caught one last snippet of dialogue.
"Wait, you like him too?"
"I mean, he is a hot f***."
"Hey, Vikk, why'd I just see Ethan and Josh banging on Simon's door?" JJ asked me.
"Jide, that's a story for another time."
