Chapter 9

A/N

First of all I got A LOT of explaining to do! I'm so sorry I couldn't update anytime sooner. I've been REALLY BUSY in school. I'm so tired and I lost my iPhone so yeah. I'm not really comfortable writing stories on my laptop but I have not choice. So again I'm really sorry. This is just a short chapter just to catch up a little bit. So please enjoy.

Hermione's POV

It seems like nothing happened after that night. Ron didn't seem to notice anything at all. And Harry has been with Ginny a lot lately. He didn't seem to care at all.

I'm here at the astronomy tower with Ron he's been babbling about all kinds of stuff but I'm not listening. All I could think of is the sight of Harry being with Ginny.

There are rumours that they are dating. But I just shrug it off most of the time. But sometimes I couldn't help but think of it.

What if Harry is with Ginny? I couldn't help but feel a little bit jealous when that pops in my mind.

Ron seemed to notice that I wasn't listening anymore because he snapped his fingers in front of me and asked if I want to go back to the Common Room.

As we were walking back to the Common Room. I tried to start a conversation with Ron.

"Hey Ron." I said while walking straight ahead and didn't even bother to look at him.

"Why?" He asked and stopped walking.

"Do you think Harry and Ginny are dating?" I was so stupid for asking that question.

"Why would you want to know?" He asked and looked at me.

"Nothing just there are a lot of rumours that they've been going out lately. And Harry is my best friend and I asked you because you're Ginny's brother." I said to him

"Are you sure you're just his best friend?" He whispered something under his breath but I couldn't hear it.

"I beg your pardon." I said to him. But he just shook his head and then answered my question.
"I really don't know Ginny and I haven't been in speaking terms lately I don't know why." He stated and then continued to walk.

I followed him back to the common room.

As we got there I was surprised because of what I saw on the couch.
