Chapter 13

Hermione's POV
After everything that happened I couldn't sleep at all.

I want to tell Ron everything but every time I try to I end up choking on my own words.

I talked to Harry about this. He said that we should tell them after Christmas Vacation.

In two weeks time we're going back to London.

Harry said I could come with him to New York.

He said we would visit a lot of places there.

I haven't been to New York but I've heard good things about it.

As I'm strolling down the hall to Potions class. I couldn't help but notice Neville and Luna walking together ahead of me.

Come to think of it there are rumours that the two are dating.

"Hey Neville and Luna!" I ran to them and greeted them.

"Hi Hermione! It's nice to see you. I mean we see each other all day but yeah." Neville said to me.

"It's nice to see you too." I replied to Neville and we had small conversations as we go to our Potions class.

(Dinner at the Great Hall)

"Man today was tiring." Ron exclaimed. He was sitting at my right and Harry is sitting at my left.

Harry seems a little quiet today I wonder what's wrong.

I slipped my hand under the table and held Harry's hand.

This caused him to look at me with a questioning face.

I just smiled at him and continued eating. But eating with one hand is a lot harder than I thought.

Harry suddenly stood up.

"I'm done eating I'm going back to the Common room." He in a voice that only me and Ron could hear.

I nodded at him and he walked away.

I wasn't done eating so I stayed and had a few talks with Luna, Neville and Ron.

As we left the Great Hall. Me, Ron and Neville went straight to the Gryffindor Common Room.

As we entered the common room there is no one there so we decided to go to our own rooms.

But before I went to my room I went to Harry's room first.

I knocked but he didn't answer.

So I tried opening the door and I was surprised that it was not locked.

As I entered what I was something that I could never imagine.

Something that made tears roll down my cheeks.

Harry was on top of Ginny and they are snogging.

Harry just looked at me. I couldn't see any emotions in his eyes.

I looked at Ginny and she is smirking at me.

"How could you Harry?" I said trying to hold back my tears but I couldn't.

"I thought you love me? My voice is breaking.

"I'm sorry Hermione. But I never really loved you."

Those words were like daggers that stabbed me right in the chest million times.

With that I ran as fast as I could not knowing where I'm going until I bumped someone.

"I'm sorry." I tried my best not to sound like I'm crying but it didn't work.

"Hermione why are you crying?" It was Ron's voice.

The voice of the person I betrayed.

"I'm fine." I said to him but he didn't believe me.

Instead he made me go with him to his room and explain everything.

As we got to his room I explained to him everything.

Even the part that I cheated on him. He didn't got mad like I thought he would be.

Instead he just sat there and listened to me.

Ron Weasley my best friend.
The person I cheated on was the one person I could lean on right now.
