Don't Let Go

Chapter 12

Harry's POV
I know that I left Hermione without saying goodbye to her.

But I can't afford to let Ron know that there's something going on between us.

"Goodnight Harry." Ginny bid goodbye.

As I turned around I felt something.

Ginny was hugging me. I broke from the hug and faced her.

"Why?" I asked her.

"Nothing" she replied. Then hugged me.

"Ouch! What was that?!" I felt something pricked me.

"What's what?" Ginny asked.

"Nothing it must be my imagination." I replied while scratching my arm where I felt the pain.

As I lie down on my bed. I thought of a lot of things.

What will be my future with Hermione?

How will people react when they found out the truth?

How long can we lie?

"What will happen if Ron knew?" I don't know how will we going to tell him.

I can't keep secrets from him anymore.

I lied down for a few minutes but I can't sleep.

I tried so hard but I just can't sleep.

There's something bothering me.

Something's wrong...

But I don't know what.

Hermione's POV
"W-what do you mean?" I asked Ron without looking at him.

Does he know?

It's impossible.
.
But what if he knows...
There are a million things running in my head right now.

My palms are sweating.
My heart is pounding so hard.

"I saw you hugging Harry a while ago." He replied.

I can feel the tension in the air right now.

I really don't know what to say.

"T-that was nothing." Lie

"Are you sure? Tell me Hermione..." Ron paused and then looked at me.

As I met his eyes there's only one thing I can see... sadness.

"Do you still love me?" He stared at me.

I really feel guilty about this.

"Yes." Lie

Almost everything I'm saying right now are lies.

"I'm tired Ron. I need to sleep." I stood up and looked at him before leaving and his eyes show sadness.

"Goodnight Ron." I tried my best to sound cheerful but I can't.

I just can't.

Ginny's POV
"You did what?!?!" I can feel no let me rephrase that I know that he's really angry right now.

"I had to do it okay?" I said while looking at his eyes.

"Ginny I know you love him but that wasn't part of the plan." He calmed down a little bit.

"I know I'm sorry. I'll fix this I promise." I assured him.

I have to fix this.

But I can't loose Harry again...
