Relief washed over Grace. But then anxiety hit. She was going to meet Tom in 9 days.

She walked to the bathroom and looked in the mirror. She combed her fingers through her short hair and sighed.

"It's gunna be fine Grace. All your friends will be there, and Tom will fit right in. No awkwardness..... Jesus why am I talking to myself."

After that small "pep talk" and using the bathroom, she took a long shower, and took a nap.
