Breaking Apart

Chapter 2

Ky hit the target again with her dagger. She growled as an arrow shoot at her from a dispenser in the wall. She took and arrow from her quiver and loaded it onto her bow. She shot the dispenser, clogging the hole where the arrows were coming from. She heard a noise behind her and grabbed her dagger swinging it around and barely missing Rob's throat. "Shit!" he squeaked while jumping back. "Robbie!" Ky yelled while capturing him him in a bear hug, totally forgetting she nearly lopped his head of.  He chuckled and hugged her back. "You do realise you could have killed me right?" he muttered while smiling. "But I would never do that," she said stepping out of the hug and looking up at him with puppy eyes. He chuckled and let go of her and asked out f the training room. He heard her start up the training exercise again.

Lolly and Preston chuckled as they watched Goldy walk down the hallway talking to Vikk. They were hiding behind two large pot plants on either side of the hallway. Goldy and Vikk were the same height and nobody would have guessed that they would start dating. They were so different but somehow they just clicked. They were laughing at something Goldy was doing. The two pranksters signalled each other and got two buckets of something at the ready. When the unsuspecting couple strolled past they threw the contents of the buckets all over them. Glitter was everywhere. "Argh!" Goldy and Vikk yelled." "Just a prank brush!" Lolly and Preston yelled simultaneously before running back to the girl's shared room to plot their next prank.

Em took her trumpet and played around with notes. She ended up making a cool little tune that she taught to Lachy when he came in the investigate. "Well, I think you sound like a drunk whale,' he judge while sitting on her bed. "Fudge you too," Em stated while putting her trumpet away and crossing her arms while pouting. Lachy pushed her back on to the bed and start tickling her. "No! Lachy, staph!" Em yelled in between laughs. "Revenge is sweet!" Lachy yelled. The two stopped in their tracks when they heard two giggling people run in. They watched Lolly and Preston sneak over to Lolly's bed while failing trying to be ninjas. It was quite amusing to watch as they fell over and attempted to do a 'ninja' roll. "Hey there," Em said loudly as they finally reached the bed. Their faces were priceless making Lachy and Em laugh so hard. Lachy fell backwards off the bed and Em rolled around on her bed. The other two had recovered and we're now laughing at the two that were laughing at them. "SHUT THE FUCK UP!" an angry Sky yelled from down the hall. The four started giggling softly before going back to what they were doing.

Emerald smiled as she showed Reece her new puppy Fabio. Reece was the son of a soldier in Ky's battalion. He was swee and loved animals. Emerald and him had meet after she was rescued and the who kingdom was celebrating. After he had accidentally knocked her over while dancing with his mother, he pick her backup and they started dancing together.after that they became good friends and now are more than friends. "Look! I got him from the pound! Isn't he adorable?" Emerald squealed. "Yeah! He is... But not as adorable as some girl I know," he said. Emerald blushed. They were sitting on the front steps of the palace. All of a sudden Ian and Seto came barging down the steps. They were arguing, yelling at each other. Emerald sat there watching them and Reece watched them two. "They never do that," emerald said quietly as Ian and Seto walked out the gate, probably going home. The thing is as soon as they stepped outside the gates it was like someone had slapped some sense into them. Seto told a joke and they both laughed. Ian, being the taller, slung an arm over Seto's shoulders and they continued walking.emerald took Reece's hand and lead him inside. But as they wen to walk into the castle a guard stopped them. "No entry," he said gruffly, he looked pissed. Emerald grew angry. "I am the little sister of Ssundee and CFA Em! Don't you dare tell me I can't come in!" she yelled. She then dragged Reece inside and they went to Emerald's smaller room beside the bigger girl's room. On the way they saw Ky and Rob trying to brush glitter off Goldy and Vikk. When they got to the room they could hear the Lolly, Preston, Em and Lachy laughing their heads off. The smiled and sat on the bed.

"Who broke this fucking plate," sky boomed at dinner. The younger generation sat there in uncomfortable silence as the older generation threw insults at each other, servants and the quiet group. The ten all took their meals to the next room that was meant for important meetings. They took a place at the table and ate their meals. Thanking the servants when they brought the next course out. They could have smashes and yelled from the other room, which they drowned out with this laughing. They soon all grew tired and it was time to retire to their rooms. Each couple decided to sleep in their partners own room and Reece stayed over. They all soon fell asleep to the noise coming from downstairs.
