Breaking Apart

Chapter 3

Em smiled as she watched the sunrise. A new day with new sunrises and new annoyances. When the sun was fully up she climbed off the roof and back into Lachy's room. Tip-toeing past her boyfriend, while pulling her turn-out pants on over her denim shorts, she pulled open the door and walked down the hall-way. She walked to the dining room and saw a shadowy figure sitting there with her best-friends sitting in the chairs around the table. They had smoke bands wrapped around their torso's and were struggling to get free. "Em, get out!" Goldy exclaimed but the shadow was drawing Em in, like what happened to the rest of them. "No walk away!" Ky tried to scream but was gagged by a tendril of thick smoke. Em sat down and was snapped out of her hypnosis. "Hey, what?" Em exclaimed before being gagged herself. They sat there, all silenced and staring angrily at the shadow. The shadow chuckled. "Don't look at me like that," it said in a calm surprisingly soft voice," I'm waiting for your boyfriends, the squid and soldiers. The four already there started to protest but soon realised it was in vain.

One by one the remaining six woke up and entered the room then captured. "So, you've all been wondering why your, brothers and friends have been so angry with each other?" the shadow asked. The ten nodded and the shadow continued. "I am Drex, a sorcerer friend of Seto's'," he smirked as the teams' eyes widened. "I am trying to split this whole team apart so no one can stop me while I take over the whole of Minecraftia. This team is the most powerful team in the whole world, so I need to start with the strongest and work my way down the list. So, I mixed potions together making anger come to everyone in the kingdom, except you lot, which I want to understand why." The shadow stalked around the table studying each person. "Oh, I know, you all have a stronger bond with each other than with the older generation, even though you love each of your brothers to bits, you as a group have been together for a long while. What, it's been about two years after the squid invasion, after you meet each other?" The group all look around at each other. "You know you just gave a whole lot away in that speech," Lolly stated while glaring at him. "No, I didn't, I just put the whole thing in a nutshell," the shadow said while smirking. "I will now teleport you to random places on this world, try to find yourselves, then friends then... Well, you couldn't stop me if you tried. One thing though, I'll give you your partner, just because I know you couldn't do anything against me," in a flash the shadow had teleported the ten away, each with their partner. He smirked and created a vision pool in front of him. "Herobrine, I have done it," he smirked. "Well done creation, now go fourth, break up the other teams we must act swiftly because they aren't as dumb as they look," the evil lord boomed before the connection was lost.
