Insanity

13 1 1

Choking on the seed of her imagination

She swallowed the pill of doubt

And sank down into the pit of lost hopes.

She hung her dreams on the ceiling

While watching stars fall from the sky.

Constantly gazing towards the horizon..

As if answers will come tip-toeing their way towards her

But they never found their way out of the darkness;

Lost..

Like her mind

Turning into a wild animal,

Scavenging for fresh flesh of those whose breath holds onto their ego

Of those whose garden must be filled with perfection

Only discarding the flowers that has revealed their flaws;

She was an animal... Driven mad,

And the root of her insanity was corruption.

Why?

She questioned herself

Her innocence flashing away before her eyes

She gambled with the wrong Demon,

But of course,

They were all wrong to begin with.
