Colleen POV:
I stayed up in the bedroom for as long as I could before people could come looking for me. Leaving the room, I had made a decision. I wasn't totally confident about how it would turn out, but it was the best possible in this situation. I approached Josh:
"Let's tell them tonight," I whispered
"Tonight?! I thought you didn't want it to be close to your sister's surprise."
"But I don't want to hold off telling them any longer and this is one of the only times that the whole family is together. If we waited, the next time we'd all be together is Easter and we don't know if your parents will be able to fly over then."
"Alright Colleen. If that's really what you want to do."
"I think it's the best we can do in this situation," I replied.
